Eeek
spent £127.37p out of my £150 budget so far, so it's really not going well.
I did sit down yesterday and make a full months meal plan. Here so i "hope" i should be ok.
According to the plan i have enough food now to last the month with exception to salad/milk/bread and other perishables. Sooooo if i can stick to it i should be fine. This months aim :- Stick to food Budget / find £100 for my car insuranceMay GC :- £250/£234.55 :T:A:TJune GC :- £150/£127.37:eek:0 -

Hi all well spent almost a third of budget already, got enoguh meat (i hope) to last the month so should only need to buy a sack of potatoes , fruit, veg and milk.
Bought 15kg of cat biscuits from the local pet shop so hopefully that will the two cats a good few months. The pair of them took one look at the biscuits glared at them and went off in a huff., so funny.
Well split the gammon i bought last week in two, had a piece on Sunday which literally disappeared thanks to OH and DS1.
Only have to buy milk today and wait for the milkman again to pay four weeks up front.
None of my veggies are growing due to lack of sun and too much rain grrr so have to buy more salad this week.0 -

Hello everyone. I'm still here
Had a really embarrasing month in May and I know I am soooooooooo late but can I declare for May at £202:eek: Sorry Mrs McC
can you also pleeeese put me down for £110 for June.
I really am finding it so hard to stick to the challenge at the moment, but I will try harder. Everything seems so hectic at the moment (long story)and I am struggling to keep up with everything, however, I know if I stop the challenge, my spends will be so much worse.
At least eveything is coming on well in the garden and we are now picking alot of fresh veggies, including Swiss Chard, Kale, Spinach & Salad Stuff -can't wait for the tomatoes. I am still shopping at the local butcher and find that around £30 a month covers us adequately for meat and the quality is great.
Hope everyone is doing well and APOLOGIES that I just haven't got around to thanking everyone:o.
Going to make a chicken stir fry tonight -hope to make double portions, so some for the freezer.
Have a good day everyone!Sealed Pot Challenge 7 Member 022 :staradmin:staradmin:staradmin

they look lovely...perfect for a virtual coffee morning....what are the sprinkles u have used they look great
we were suppose to be having sausage and mash for tea...but due to lack of pots its changed to sausages and noodles and veg...which doesnt sound as nice....i struggle with pots i got half a sack from farm shop and they went a bit grim...we like cous cous rice pasta etc more ....i sometimes buy a small bag from asda...i think ill go back to that as i dont have to think up meals to use up potatoes
found a bargain in asda the other day...sp fizzy water for the princely sum of 12p...i chopped up a lime and lemon and chucked some icecubes in...it tasted nice...very good value
i am doing tandoori drum stix tomorrow (a patak coating) but they are nice and i tend to see chicken drumstix on offer quite a lot
have a nice day
tessonwards and upwards0
