    Hiya

Two mini updates from me... OH bought in some bits yesterday, he didn't keep a recipe  but it came to about £14ashe got some alcohol for us both too

I went to Asda today and spend £25 odd and leftthe reciept behind so let's call that £26..

A £30 update for my sig on the way.....

Sorry to disappoint you honey, but if you're adding both those spends to your total it's £40 not £30:eek:

Yes, though some of the pre-cooked packet ham seems to do better than others. I find the value/basics is fine regardless of brand, but we had to chuck a S'flds breaded ham after defrosting as it totally chnaged taste and texture. I slice/chop and freeze anything left from a gammon joint, and use slices for a further meals or the chopped bits in rissotto and such

I would like to rejoin after month or two off. My target for June is £500 (not including drinkies), which is what worked last time I did this. Two adults, two children, expensive tastes.

Yesterday was the first Saturday. I did a small shop at Sainsburys: pork pies and scotch eggs for lunches over the weekend (in the middle of moving house), fruit, yoghurt, milk, cheese. I think the food portion of the shopping was £30. I have my veg box coming Monday: £16 for veg and £10 for bread. So this week is £56 so far. We're emptying a freezer so there's a lot of freezer surprise planned.
    Mortgage started on 22.5.09 : £129,600
    Overpayments to date: £3000

First big shop and my current spend is £99.16:eek: - a bit worrying as we're not even a quarter of the way through the month, but hopefully that's all the toiletries, household stuff and pet food sorted. Except for kitchen towel - just remembered:o
Am going to plant more lettuces and rocket today to boost the veggie supply. Another glorious day outside, anyway.

Just did a long post and lost it - must be a sign:D

    Short form - updated sig,
    - now have Costco membership so big shop looming:rotfl:
    - Trying for as many NSD's this month as find if I go into a shop my purse empties.

Thats about it - Thanks to MrsM, Pink and Rosieben for all the hard work, without you I wouldn't have total of £2918.44 in the Credit union - Xmas and our 30th Wedding aniversary Caribean cruise sorted (sailing 30th of Oct - can't wait, but loads of weight to lose yet:eek:)
