I'm an admin assistant for a smallish/medium business in Warwickshire, £23500. I definitely think it's decent money for the job I'm doing, although because it's a smallish company it means the work and tasks I do are quite varied and not always confined to "admin" (which I'm glad about!).0

Frankly I find it shocking how little some people are earning, quite a few of these jobs deserve better pay - don't despair though, things can get better if you keep at it!
16 - £4.50 an hour at a well known fast food restaurant (working Saturdays and holidays).
17 - £4.89 an hour.
18 - £5.03 an hour.
20 - £5.63 an hour.
21 - £6.02 an hour (full time for a year, think I got about ~11.5k).
22 - 25k base salary + 4.5k car allowance + 20% bonus + free medical + free gym
23 - 30k base salary + the other benefits above.
EDIT - Sorry didn't mention my job: I work as an IT Consultant in a fairly large software company. Lots of travelling around the country though - the slight downside of this job.
Keep at it folks and you can sometimes land your dream job purely by happy circumstanceAnd getting a degree really helps (or did - I got in just before the massive hike in fees ).
