I'm a Substance Misuse worker (voluntary sector) and earn £24500 p/a. It is an interesting and very challenging job and by far, the best thing I ever got into. I used to be a crane operator and it wasn't uncommon to earn in excess of £100,000 p/a but you had to do some serious hours for that... at the expense of relationships etc. So, although the money was good... it had its downside.
I'm so glad I took the plunge and started doing what I do now.Marge... if the bible has taught us nothing else, which it hasn't, it's that girls should stick to girls sports like hot oil wrestling, foxy boxing and such and such...! Homer Simpson0 -

Was making £30`000 per annum including bonus as a Sales Executive for a consumables company. Then I was made redundant. Gave up looking for work. No one would employ me. Now I help other people make money On-line. Kind of lucky really as that came about after I was researching how I could back up my computer files. Turns out I could make money just by helping others with same problems...No more "JOB" Horray to that !!! :rotfl:0

Teacher, took early retirement, have a pension of around £9500pa. Should get my state pension in March, another £5,000 or whatever it is.
No mortgage, thankfully, so not too bad, especially as I am married so my husband also has a pension of about half mine again.
He has to wait for another twelve or more years for his state pension.0 -

What is an "MI Analyst"?0

Management Information Analyst.
Basically I provide reports to managers about all aspects of the business.
It's more a technical role, querying databases with millions of pieces of data. People higher than me make decisions on it....or lie about it if it doesn't suit them!0
