  • Just been scamed by these f....... hadnt read this forum untill afterwa id paid the £69, called to cancel and was put on hold for about 20 mins, finaly i called the number again and demanded to talk to a team leader. i told her id got the loan elsewhere so wanted to cancel, she said thats fine we will refund £64, (id allready read here about this ) so ive told her her ive called trading standards and the finacial ombudsman, who have both said they ill pick up the case if i dont recieve the FULL refund (Bluffing) they wouldnt tell me who the loan was aproved by but she did say the loan had been approved by QDL and not an actual loan company. This is their play on words to get round stealing your money. Ive demanded a refund within 24hrs or ill take the complaint through FO and TS, ....watch this space
DO NOT GO NEAR THIS COMPANY
ive also made a complaint to credit expert, a the link comes from their website ! this was before i cancelled my membership with them !
  • they've got another!! why is it we all check this after we pay the money? can i jus ask people who have made the same mistake if you have received the refund or is that another scam?
  • i made this mistake and then read this, rang them up and said i want to cancel it, they told me why i said well i got another loan else where. they went on aAPR. i then went on to telling them that i been advice by trading standard that you misleading customer ?( bluffing) and i want my payment cancel and if not i will be taken you to trading standard. natalie said that no money will be taken out of my bank account at the end of the month. then i threaten them and said if anymoney is taken out of my bank account i will be reporting you to trading standard. so i will check my bank account at end of the month
  • I have just fallen for this "scam" from QDL, and am VERY angry at the link coming from a "trusted website" (Experian) to a company who told me I have been accepted for a loan, and after paying £69.95 was told I have been accepted "in principle".

I have just written 3 letters and sent one email.

    x1 email to BBC watchdog.
x1 letter to QDL asking for a FULL refund
x1 letter to the Office Of Fair Trading
    x1 Letter to Experian

I feel that as consumers we should "all do the above and "move in large numbers" to make things happen!

Hopefully this will at least get me my money back, and raise questions about the link between these 2 organisations and hopefully this can get in fron of more and more consumers who are desperate for money and do not have spare money to waste.

I think you should check this out before 'you get scammed'.

There are posts going back years advising you that these companies will scam you, but no, you go ahead because you want a loan.

When you think about it...."Send me £60.00 to get you a loan".....Come..onnnn!!!

    are you really that stupid?

Oh my..are you really going to show your stupidity on National Television?' Jesus Unbelievable
  • If you re-read my post you will see what happened - Experian are supposed to be trusted.

No, I aint stupid, yes I let my guard down temporarily.. not very often these days, and NO I aint going on national television, so please don't call me stupid.

No I don't frequent these forums all the time so the fee/being a good little moneysaver isn't always at the forefront of my mind.
Yes my father in law died, leaving us with a house to sort out and a million other things so excuse me if I slipped up.

I am writing these letters to help others.

You should think before you speak. Who are you to call people stupid.
  • Seems my sharp words to QDL worked.

Sent 3 recorded letters as mentioned above.

Got a personal phone call today, very polite from them, promise of a refund of the FULL amount, even the £5 fee they take, authorised within 24hrs and in my bank within 10 days.
  • I have done the same thing as a few of the other people have on this website as well, I have paid the £69.95 to sort the loan out and have now found a much better loan offer than they offered me, however when I called quick decision loans and asked for my money back, they told me that I would have to write in to their head offcie and sort it out from there!

I asked to speak to their refunds dept and they said that they no longer had a refunds dept as too many people complained about the waiting time they were on the phone for! so they now have NO refunds dept, NO team leaders who can authorise any form of refund!

The address they gave me is in Farnborough:

    3rd Floor
    Westmead House
    Westmead
    Farnborough
    Hampshire
    GU147LP

I feel that I have been treated extremely unfairly and I have now lodged a complaint with Trading Standards
  • I've just been scammed by these people.

I gave my bank details, card info, NI number all in good faith.

i told them i didn't have the funds to pay the £69.95 and advised them i would call back.
they then put me on hold to see about "proccessing the fee" which actually meant trying my bank account details that they misled me in to giving to them to take payment without my authorisation. i am currently waiting on a call back to get my money back.

In the mean time, my bank have had to cancel my card incase they try and take any more without my consent.

All i can advise is do not deal with this company, no matter how desperate for a loan you are!.
