Unbelievable, you would think that any reputable loan company would jump at the chance to give a 3000 pound loan to a chap who is earning 55 pounds a week in benefits.
So to recap, you rang up a company and spoke to Charlie Brown, (you clearly were an important customer as normally people have to speak to Linus, Pig Pen or Lucy first) and then you sent off a money gram to a firm registered in India.
This guy is clearly not a troll, you couldn't make a story like that up
I think you can make it up. This message is across 5 threads, written exactly the same. Sorry to say it's a Troll. The more I live, the more I learn.

The more I know, the more I see,
How little I know.!!

I agree it's a Troll, but to be fair, the story isn't too far detatched from the 6 pages worth of stories about people happily throwing money away in this thread.0

So, 6 Months on, and past the exact date when I applied, QDL still haven't found me a "real" loan (just a load of irritating sales calls from companies linked to them or who they sold my details to), so by law, I'm entitled to the "finders fee" being returned without question, only issue is their website is "down for refurbishment", so no up to date numbers available, but still, I shall find them, they owe me £70....

I still feel like an idiot applying to them for quick money, it's just despicable that they can do this sort of thing to people in times of need and poor credit...

They're not exactly in any hurry to refund, I sent a letter to the address on their website (which unsurprisingly is "Under construction", the letter was received on the 30th, and to date, no communication from them, but then, the phone has been registered with TPS AND I have activated Anonymous Call Rejection (see telephonesukDOTcoDOTuk/network_codesDOThtm for more info), so they're probably blocked, given how much of a pest they have been with the calls they've made with my details...

Given that it *could* take a couple of weeks, assuming they haven't vacated the property and disappeared, I could be waiting for a while, but, I dunno, I hate people like these taking the p155... :mad:0 -
Well, seems they are still there, I got a letter this morning from them with the usual spiel, "money has been refunded, could take 10 days due to the banks, blah de blah", so, as of the 6th, the date on the letter, the refund should arrive in my account within presumably 10 working days, still a bit too long for my liking, but at least the money's coming back, minus the £5...

It's just sad that we have to do this with companies like QDL, but then, it's sad that companies like QDL have to take money from those who can ill afford it...

And I'm done with them, refund received 12th of October, amazing what a snotty letter can do...
