I never got my loan and I am now worried it has affected my credit rating

Hiya, if you look at my previous posts all is not lost. I manage to get a full refund of 69.95 and the recorded enquiry lifted from my report. You just need to write to them and not take No for an answer, i was successful and it took less than a week from complaining. The number is a national rate so even that came under my free minutes plus the cost of a piece of paper and a stamp

I did almost exactly the same thing with these people. I called and was very demanding of a refund (not shouty but I made sure they knew I was serious). I spoke to a lady called Meg in their refunds department and had my money back within 4 days.

ok I just checked my mobile I have a call from 01252557644 - on ringing the message is UCC - which on google comes back to a company called yesloansUK - strange huh - I was dealing with QDL - when a real person came on the line he said it was QDL complaints department - I would ring them quick!

Well, I'm stuck as to what to write in a letter to them, the only letter like it I have done in the past was my attempt to get my money back off the bank (failed annoyingly, about £1400 owed but haven't got back, which I could do with now!!! And it's LloydsTSB, the state-owned bank!!!), but now, I'm not sure what to write...

If anyone can help, that would be super, I want 100% of my money back that they have taken, illegally no less, can't let people like that get away with such things... :)

So if you are following this thread this will make you chuckle - I took my daughter to ballet today and whilst there I recieved three texts from flmloansDOTcoDotuk confirming my loan for £3000 - I just needed to fill in the paper work that had been posted to me or if I couldn't wait I could logon and apply on line

To my knowledge I had cancelled the loan process with QDL 8 days ago so you can imagine my blood was boiling after a trip home by bus (no car at the moment hence the need for a loan)

I called FLM - they had only received my details today ........ they have assured me my details have now been removed (I am not holding my breath)

Of course I rang Dion in the complaints department of QDL who seemed surprised especially as we had already had a conversation about removing all my details - he had no idea how it could of happened - he will be calling flm to make sure all my details have been removed - excuse me my scepticism!

As for my refund well it has been 8 days and counting - I was told it would take up to 10 days so we shall see

So FLMloans a company whose average apr is 42.6% offer loans from £500 - £5000 and reading their forums they suggest you approach anyone from relatives to work colleagues to be guarantor on your loan....... definitely not the kind of company I want to do business with. Although they told me the loan isn't guaranteed against property if you default on a payment it is your guarantor that is liable for the payments...

Just like sammandry, I have just got an e-mail from FLM, saying the money has been transferred into "an account" (not mine!!) and is ready for me to withdraw, I just need to complete the application online. Er, yeah right... :rotfl:

Yes after 3 txt messages and a conversation with Eva at FLM on the 16th - where she assured me that my loan would not be processed and she had marked my file do not post. I got an email that evening telling me that me loan request had been looked into and the money had been transferred ready for me to withdraw.

So guess what - I got my loan paperwork today FLM have offered me £3000 at 53.9% APR variable

the charge for this credit is £2442.84 (at 36% interest per annum) inclusive of a brokerage fee of £300 and a debit card fee of £0.29 (I am not sure who's debit card fee this is - I don't have a debit card)

    Additional fees::eek:
Breach of agreement fees £20 i.e late payment or failure to pay
    Returned payment charge £20
    Letter notifying non- payment £7.00
I assume that this means that if I miss a payment it will cost me £47.00 + interest?
Visits to your home to collect payment £100

and they charge interest at the rate of interest on unpaid sums and reasonable costs incurred as a result of a breach including legal costs, court fees and costs incurred in tracing you should you change address and not notify them.

If it all the same with you at FLM loans - I will not support the lifestyle you wish to become accustomed too - I would rather take the bus................

Companies that operate like this - profiting from peoples desperation are morally reprehensible and should be stopped.

Good that lots of people are getting refunds, luckily I stopped it through the bank when I thought it smelled a bit fishy.

Just a quick question that someone asked earlier - has anyone actually ever gone right through the whole process with these people, and got the original loan they requested?

Surely if this company are not offering the service originally promised they are in some breach of the trade descriptions act?
  • hi, i have applied for a loan from QDL and they charged me the same £69.95.i don t know i felt for their trick and i feel so stupid now.i don t know how what to do now to get my money back,i am intending to put a letter in the post as they requested to get my money back.i donu if this is a complete waste of time,or shall i just call them.but the thing is i called them but didn t get through to anyone.i am abit panicked now duno what to do to get my money back.can someone pliz tell what to do...............:mad::mad:
