    Hey all -

I decided to apply for an 'Ads Assessor' job at Lionbridge. I haven't got the job yet, apparently I have to take some sort of exam? I just wondered whether anyone else has experience of this company / role - is it legit?

I've never had a job before so I'm a bit nervous. I imagine that the job itself is deathly boring? Does it need 100% full attention or can you have the radio on as you work?

I haven't done that specific role but yes the company is legit. Generally once you have some experience you can get away with more and more distractions. I can happily rate and watch TV, browse, listen to radio etc. and not have a drop in quality.

It can be boring, but then a lot of jobs are. Depends on the person I suppose. You do end up with a lot of useless knowledge!
  • Has anyone received their remittance for November yet??

    Thanks
  • I applied before Christmas and was due to take the exam. Got an email out of the blue,
"We thank you for applying for a Work from Home position with Lionbridge.
We regret to inform you that we can no longer proceed with your application on this
    occasion.

Following a recent review on IP checks the customer has not permitted entry into
    exam at this time.

Thank you for your time and interest shown in this position and we wish you every
    success in your future endeavors."
  • Sounds as though someone else at your IP either already works for them, has previously worked for them, previously applied or same for one of their competitors.

I've recently started working for them as an ads assessor. Any others here? This thread is awfully quiet! lol

I work for them as an Internet Assessor. Quite enjoy it, but there's not as much work on as I'd like.
  • Hi! can you please tell me how long does it take to get a feedback from lionbridge once the exam hah been completed? thank you
  • Has anyone got work at the moment? I was on AdCopy2 but it suddenly stopped about 4 weeks ago. Frustrating as I'd only just qualified, just got up to required speed etc. wondered what's the longest gap raters have had between Lionbridge projects - weeks, months, or so long you just gave up? Many thanks.
  • I was working on the EN-GB Query AdCopy v2 and today received this :"We would like to notify you that due to circumstances outside of our control we no longer have a requirement for your services on our program."

Anyone else working on this programme for Lionbridge receive the same message?

    Hello,

I haven't received any contact from the but the login is unavailable this morning. I'm an internet assessor though, sounds different to what you do?
