Anyone who works for Lionbridge has to sign a non disclosure agreement, so we can't talk about the job or will risk losing it.

There is a forum for raters here

but as I said the job is not discussed in detail. I can't really tell you anymore than what is on their own information page. When you do apply everything is made clear, including pay rate etc.

I would chase it up as usually they are pretty quick to get back to you. Did you send your CV?

I did chase it up but they didn't reply to my email unfortunately. I filled in their online application form. They asked for further info which I sent, but the application is still being processed apparently. Don't hold out much hope.

Sorry to hear that. If you are suitable they usually get back to you pretty quickly.
  • I sent in my CV, filled out an application form and did the pre-screen test, which I know I did correctly, but the next day I received an email telling me I had been unsuccessful, no explanation why though???

It is very sought after position so probabaly isn't you! I think a good all round education is the main thing they are after. A degree helps a lot too and is what swung it for me I think.

Having a degree didn't help me, I see how the position is sought after, it looks really good! I would love to do it. I emailed them again you never know. Is there any other email address I can use to chase them up catwoman?
    Thanks
