I paid for my order by credit card yet my account screen shows an APR rate. Has anyone else got this on their account screen (last option in list 'My APR')? I do hope so as I never applied for an account by clicking on the 'Apply for Account' option as I paid by card.

BTW shocking APR if you were to pay on the never never which judging by the rate any large balance would NEVER be paid off.....
  • So if the dongle is unlocked, can I use it on another network, such as Vodafone or 3G? Would it work with a free 3G Sim?

If my dongle is not unlocked, then who will unlock it for £5 -£15 ?

So it's similar to topping up a mobile....I think I will order one then!

    Thanks for the help.

you cannot top these up in the shops ONLY online via your credit/debit card.

If you have no credit though the dongle lets you surf to the top up site to top up and then surf as normal
  • Thanks buglawton, at six pages, I had missed those two important posts!

I decided to contact littlewoods direct in relation to the £10 refund.

Littlewoods advised the order did not meet the requirements for the voucher and so the voucher would not be refunded.
They advised the terms of the voucher was on an order over £10. The mobile broadband was £9.98 and so it did not meet the terms of the voucher and so no refund will be made.

I did send a mail back to advise them there order system is extremlely missleading for customers and is not best practice. I also advised I was concerned their system was accepting vouchers for orders which do not comply with the vouchers terms.
Also the fact the customer has authorised to pay littlewoods the amount with voucher applied and this is the amount which should be debit from the customer. Not the full amount. But ofcourse it does state in there terms and conditions that they can apply the payment this way and not apply the voucher should it not meet the terms of the order. However how many people actually read the terms and conditions ? So it is kinda sneaky of them. Even the confirmation email from them says the amount with voucher applied.
I would be interested to see if anybody has actualy received the refund of the voucher ?

When I ordered, the dongle was £10, so I don't expect them to try to wriggle quite so much.

If you ordered at £9.98, what did you expect?

Just checked and it is still advertised at £10 now so I expect to receive my refund. My receipt says the total cost is £3.73.

Donnie check again what you will find is they add a vat discount for 0.02 making the dongle at £9.98 below the £10 at checkout.

So this makes the voucher invalid. I just checked again now they are available at £10 but when you go to checkout they reduce it by 0.02 no doubt because so many people were using the voucher. Maybe you were lucky and got in early that they hadn't applied the vat discount when you purchased.
I don't expect I should have been able to aply the voucher if it did not meet the terms on the voucher. I expected littlewoods to advise me that the voucher would not be applied. I also expected the £3.72 to be deducted from my debit card as this is what I authorized littlewoods to take from my account.
