But as a lot of MSEers know to their cost Littlewoods/LD/Additions etc seem to do exactly what they choose regardless of what the email confirmation says..

I've emailed them to see if they are going to honour the discount.

If they dont, I'll have great pleasure in sending it back at their cost as I now have two of the 3G unlocked dongles (Me & Mrs Kar)

    EDIT .. Received Reply.... Result!

    Dear Customer

Price has now increased for this dongle. It's now £15 at littlewoods direct.

Probably noticed the increase in ebay offerings or could it be the constant run of emails from people asking for the £10 discount to be honoured.

Interesting but I authorised a payment through SecureCode of £3.73. However checking my credit card online it shows two transactions one of £3.73 and the other the balance.

    ^^ Ditto ^^

I think all Secrecode does is provide another security check before your card can be used. It appears not to prohibit multiple transactions once the extra door is open!

I sent a message via their 'contact us' web facility and had this email response:

    Dear XXXXX,

Thanks for your enquiry regarding your card payment.
I can confirm that I have now refunded your card.
Please allow 14days for the credit to show on your card statement.
We're sorry for any inconvenience you have been caused.

... I did specifically request the refund go to my Visa card, but it ought to be standard practice to refund to the card from which the original payment was made.
  • This offer just reminded about the previous quidco deal involving the O2 wireless broadband dongle.
Just checked my quidco, and they paid in full 4 days ago!
