Yes... By calling the landline number you just key in the sim card mobile number and add credit to it with the top up voucher numbers. It doesnt have to be in an i-phone or any phone for the credit to go on it.

EDIT: You then get access to the internet free for 12 months and according to their T&C's this "should" be for i-phones only! ;)

I shall read their terms and conditions and get myself an iphone :) Thanks for the info!

    Quite!

Even those with I-phones are likely to get throttled if they use too much bandwidth....free but..... and there's always a but....

What are the drawbacks? They cut you off if it is against their T&Cs, or throttle your bandwidth if you use too much...

it's a nice little loophole, however once Ebay sellers start to publicise it to make their sims bid up higher, eventually o2 will get vigilant & close this off, I fear.

The web page accepted the voucher in the first place. Per the email from LWD posted earlier, £10 refunds should be going back to credit cards at a later date. All these folks phoning LWD up may now cause then to 'correct' the 'mistake' and cancel all the £10 refunds - now that this is being brought to their attention.
The refunds aren't going through as can be seen from every other post on this thread. I waited to see whether they were going to do it or not. On the phone she said.. oh that's weird the refund should have gone through when it was dispatched. I ordered something to my girlfriend's address with a voucher and the refund went through straight away - whether that was because I used a debit card or not I don't know as they charge debit cards when you order, not when it is dispatched.

I used a debit card and still haven't received my refund. I was told it would be credited to my account on my next statement. I didn't open an account til a few days after getting it delivered so don't know why they're not refunding my card. I'm not too bothered because it means £10 less to pay, but it's very sneaky. I'm lucky I don't need it too much, a couple of weeks ago I would have been chasing it up, asking to be refunded to my card asap.

Also, I authorised a payment of £3-odd so don't know how they can take £16.01. Or why it was that odd amount.

They should have charged you £9.78 and £3.95 to make £13.73, then you should also get a £10 refund.

Slip in an O2 iphone sim bought on ebay for a £10er, and hey presto 12 months free mobile broadband for a net cost of.... absolutely nothing! (with a dongle thrown in for good measure!):money:
This sounds a great deal, is this correct you buy 02 iphone card from ebay'activate card with £10 credit then can us in dongle to browse/download at no additional chargei.e you don't have to pay any costs for the amont downloaded etc and don't have to pay the £2 minimum to activate the original sim provided which gives you 500mb(max) and is active for 24hrs.

Have I understood this correctly? just sounds to good to be true that for a total of less than £20(dongle,ebay sim,and £10 initial credit) that I can get a years mobile broadband
