Why would you want to add unlocking software, the dongle is unlocked, im using a 3 sim in mine at the monent and using the o2 software to connect

Yes, I realize that! I assumed the software would be better and give more control as it is manufacturer provided and not some corporate effort - as it stands, I'm not that keen on it, so is it possible to restore?

re the £10 refunds - the shopping cart/voucher processing is definitely suspect. It amounts to an authorization on your card to pay only the £3.73 - you should not need to refer off to T's & C's elsewhere in order to check if you will actually pay the shown price or not. I think it breaks distance selling regulations and it and ought to be fixed. This is why a few firm emails to LWD should get your refund, but they do need to fix that cart.

I rang them last week they said give it a few more days. The other thing is.. Is it legal to bill you for the billed amount and then deduct a further amount seperately?
  • For those needing the apn settings for the iphone sim, they can be found here :-

This sounds a great deal, is this correct you buy 02 iphone card from ebay'activate card with £10 credit then can us in dongle to browse/download at no additional charge i.e you don't have to pay any costs for the amont downloaded etc and don't have to pay the £2 minimum to activate the original sim provided which gives you 500mb(max) and is active for 24hrs.

Have I understood this correctly? just sounds to good to be true that for a total of less than £20(dongle,ebay sim,and £10 initial credit) that I can get a years mobile broadband

On ebay yesterday I bought one of these sim cards with £10 credit on it for £10.99 delivered, but this evening I have had an email from ebay saying that the listing is no longer available. I looked on the site and they have now pulled most of these sim cards. Maybe O2 have complained to ebay..I just hope I get mine now.

There are still some listings with no credit on, and a couple that say no credit then further down the listing says there is £10 credit.. so take care when buying one of these.
I don't post much, but when I do it's all good!!

what I am looking for is a deal like Voda Pay & Go: Load up with £15 then can take forever to use up the 1GB of data transfer. This is the deal that would suite my usage best, only cannot get a sim-alone for this!

3 would be the best for you IMO, 50p per day charge just use it when you like

    Get a free sim from 3 here > https://www.three.co.uk/Pay_As_You_Go/Free_SIM

When you get it buy £5 worth of credit in a shop, then register the £5 online and you can then choose "add ons" 50p per day, £2.50 per week or £7 monthly internet access, im using my 3 sim with the o2 dongle no problem

So if you say use 50p today , the account will show £4.50 which stays there until you need to use it again

The vodafone sounds better to be honest - you might only logon quickly and that's 50p gone.
