    she must have shorts!!

Primark do really nice 3/4 leggings... she's walking it with you, don't let her fool you into spending money on sports gear.... not unless she's planning on taking running up afterwards... and she gets her tshirt at the end, so no buying tops either!

    I'm harsh aren't i?!?!?!

No, she hasnt got any shorts - she's only very recently braved getting her legs out for the first time since she was little

And she's only got really cheap trainers, so could do with a decent pair really :o Plus she uses the treadie, so she could use em for that afterwards.

I've got £15 Amazon vouchers that I can use towards the shoes. I wish Aldi still had them shorts in (I've never been to Primark :p )

She wants to raise money for Macmillan, so I've emailed them about a top for her

Not harsh at all, and if she had stuff she could wear, I'd be harsh too :D

Sorry to butt in on your thread - spud what size is she??

I'm in Leeds that weekend and could most likely give her some of my running stuff as I have tons now - I even have some trainers that I only wore for about a week as I didnt like them (they never fitted right) - I can prob drop them off on the way to my race :D

If you're sure they're going spare, she'd be very grateful hun ;)

Yep they never fitted my foot shape well and I couldnt get the inserts out to put mine in - they are pink though (and white) :p

I'll see about dropping them with on someone on Saturday - who's around that day?? Actually just realised Freckleton is a 2pm start - but its prob still better to drop them off Saturday as she can try them on then :D

If she doesnt like them - there's a great running shop in Bradford that has loads of cheap shoes and stuff - its by the carpark, called sportshoesdirect I think :D

awww becky - that is so sweet of you hun...

we'll make sure she breaks them in on saturday night, would maybe cause blisters if she wore them for the first time on the day for 6 miles? no?

Why don't you drop them behind reception at Travelodge Vicar Lane? although Sammy, Sally and myself are all there on saturday evening......... we're maybe going to have something to eat in the evening if you n Rich are around, a sort of pre-meet-meet if you will... i promise i will be nice to Rich.. no arguing with him!!!
I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....

I think he may have plans for a romantic dinner since it'll be the first time we've seen each other for 4 weeks  but I can easily drop them in during the day - it would be better for her to try them out definitely :D

I'll go dig them out of my cupboard and check them over tonight and see if they are still okay (I'm sure their fine but just want to check :o)
