i reeeeeaaaalllly want sal to come as well.... but i know Bea is a shy soul so can see the issues, and by the time we get assembled and run and then get thru the finish line it will be 2 hours for even the fastest runners...

You've got the right idea taking your DD round with you Spudly! Good thinking!

Sally - if you can sell on your number, you could still come and spectate and take some good proper pics of us all... then come to Roundhay park afterwards for the fun day out....? You'd get the saturday night with us all as well... it's not just about the run is it?

    Sal's GOT to come ;)

I'm just lucky DD's of an age where she can come with me Maz :D

But as a TA, it's my job to assist......and besides, I work in reception, which is nearer to Bea's age than the little darlings you're used to ;)

I bet I can come up with more reasons than you :rotfl:

I tutor primary kids after school so NUR! (youngest is 5!)

(I am going to hell for teaching tiny children really hard maths but hey ho its all money!!)
    Nevertheless she persisted.

In that case, I set you a challenge......get my DD to understand maths :D

Shall I break the news to her now, or surprise her in Leeds :rotfl:

Bless them poor kids they just learn by rote its the only way unless you really like maths(not that many kids do at tutoring otherwise they wouldn't be there!)

With my real teachers hat on if she is stuck with some thing I might be able to help?

    xxx

I am red! I wonder why Sally is Green...I assumed Green was for the elite crowd! That must be why she is green then...

Sally come anyway and take it as it comes, lets see if Bea makes friends with Chloe and Natalie (don't worry about the reponsibility on Natalie she is great even if I say so myself!) and if she doesn't want to be left then don't run. I know its a long way to come but it would be great to see you

Sally I have had a word with DD1 and she said she is used to making children feel okay when they come in to have their hair cut so Bea should be okay....glad you are still coming....

Spud - don't worry no treacle in Leeds...and bloomin eck it was hot today. the lovely people in the houses we passed were giving us water and someone had their hose pipe on spray - it was gorgeous....

Ah bless you Sammy, Its just really I feel its a huge ask to expect someone to take responsibility for my 3 year old child and make sure she doesn't get lost, kidnapped (yes extreme I know), run over, run off, etc etc. But anyway we will cross that bridge when we get there..
