Hi there folks, although I don't post on this forum very often at the moment I would be interested in meeting up (if you'll have me!). Might not make it to watch the race as it depends on my children but are you meeting up in the evening at all cos I'd like to join you if I can?
Many thanks folks (and best of luck to those taking part in the race).BR 08/06/09 ED 10/03/10BSC member 2500 -

Hi, Lightattheend!
We're meeting for the race, then back to hotels for sweaty runners to get changed etc, then the plan is to go to Roundhay park and chill out in the Lakeside for the afternoon, where kids can play and maybe grown ups can have a beverage or two... maybe a bite to eat. Some folks have to leave after teatime, so back to city centre for all about that time...
kids of all ages from 3 - 15 will be there, so if you want to bring kids to Roundhay, you'll get the best part of the day....
There are no firm plans for the evening yet as some will have kids, but happy to let you have a mobile number to get in touch with anyone on the day. I'll pm you......
