Hi there anyone else having this problem, i have an additions account which is well run little balance and a large credit limit i recently made a new order, later that evening i logged into my account and tracked my order only to find this showed as credit rejected! I have had no previous correspondents from additions with reference to my account so cant understand why my order has been rejected my available credit is still showing and i am no where near my credit limit so cant understand it!
Anyone have any idea what may be going on?

Mate they have taken it away or cos its near midnight when they update the system..... best to ring them.

Possible that they might see you as more of a risk now, so they might have cancelled it. Can you tell us if the order you placed was a large one ?

I placed an order for a mobile, day before yesterday with additions, and could see my order status as 'order accepted' instantly compared to 'order being processed' during the initial period when I had just opened the account with them. Also they increased my credit limit !!

But this happened to me once with J.D Williams, placed an order - no where near my credit limit however it was cancelled as i had not built up enough history with them, for them to accept the order, as according to J.D Williams it was large order, - well apparantly this is what i got when i called them up, even though they had even upped my credit limit a few days back :eek:

No it was not a large order it was for just over £100 so would leave me with £800 credit! emailed them but have asked me to contact them by telephone regarding my account, tried for over an hour to get in touch with no joy, so have requested they contact me by post regarding the matter.
With regards to other matter NID nope not heard a dickie bird, how long do you advise me to wait before re contacting?

I just applied Next account got decline then appeal they accepted my application and offered £200 limit.

Littlewoods same got decline then appeal and given £100 limit.
La redoute looks like its been accepted still waiting as they said 10 days dont know whats going on with that at the moment.

I am new to credit and want to improve my history what will be the best advise?

applied Capital one got decline and appeal was also decline same thing with Aqua and Vanquis credit card.

I had a slight problem with electoral where my name was wrong and thats why all the account was decline but now its all correct and appeal was accepted with catalogue accounts but credit card said wait 6 months so i guess thats it.

I have Orange pay monthly for last 3 months and have 000 with green on my report same thing with virgin media

O2 montly got it last month but not yet showing my credit file.?

do you guys know how long ti will take to appear all these new account on my credit file and how cna i improve my history using these accounts?
