i have an empire catalogue account which ive worked hard to maintain the repayments etc after coming into trouble with Kays.
My advice would be DO NOT take them up on any buy now pay later offers. i found they all came at the same time from like the year or 2 before and i was !!!!!!ed to !!!!!!y! i couldnt pay and ended up on an 'arangement to pay' which damaged me to say the least. now im super good with payments on empire. its the biggest credit limit i have on a credit account! £2900. but its been a long time coming! good luck all and dont over spend!Current Mortgage balance - £363,785.35/£420,000 (highest point Oct 2022).0 -

I have a studio account which I used once for a new item and my file looks like this for studio; 000uuuuuuuuuuuuu.Since when has the world of computer software design been about what people want? I have arranged to pay my Empire account by direct debit on their 0% apr deal, x amount of weeks at 53p or something, for a pair of jeans. On the DD page there was an option to pay the minimum payment or to pay a full payment.
Which one doI go with in order to pay off the weekly amounts at 0% apr?Vanquis- Limit £1250, balance £0
Capital One Classic- Limit £800, balance £0
Natwest Current Account- £800 OD limit, approx £600 OD
Loan- £3300, will be paid off by Dec 09
Student Loan- paid off Dec 09 (That's £150 a month extra! Woohoo)
Empire Catalogue Account- £750 limit, balance £300 -
Make sure you use the account otherwise your report will just show UUUUUUUUUUU and not 000000000000000.

Does actually having a those 'u's' a real bad thing ?? It just shows the account not being used, isn't it ??
Also read it somewhere that over paying the account above the credit limit even by something as little as 10p makes the catalogue keep reporting those green 0's to the cra's !! Is that actualy true0 -

U is not bad but 0 is better.
U = Unclassified doesn't it? Studio are one of the few people to use this - have also heard that some cards are starting to use the Zzz function now as well - shows 'stoozers' i.e. a balance owing but card never used
Any news from Ulster as yet...? Just curious to see what their lending is like thus my interest. Hope they give it you.....2010 - year of the troll
