Oh. Panic over. You've been given a blunt one.

We're trying to fill in the forms for our sale and it is such a long drawn out process, much worse than I remember when we sold previously. I thought we were good at keeping paperwork, but they keep asking for certificates and things we can't remember ever seeing, so we don't know if we never got them or if they got lost. We've even got a HIP for this house, but it doesn't seem to have cut down any of our paperwork.

My board's been changed to a 'sold' one but until the valuation's been done (hopefully just a basic one - nothing to hide though) I won't breathe too easily.

    Hi, i'm new to this.

Just wanted some advice. We've been on the market since the end of Jan 2011. Asking price of 179k for a 4 bedroom house. Reduced the asking price 2 weeks ago to 172k. We still have not received one viewing. We were told by the EA that the houses in our price range were stuck in a rut.

Just wondering if others in that price range were getting any viewings because we thought that we should have had at least one viewing by now. Should we try a different EA?

    Thanks in advance.
  • Marketing started Thursday, by lunchtimes, calls coming through for viewings

That gives me the weekend to do the tidying up

    Fingers crossed

I'm not going to even bother viewing till Autum, sellers just need to get realistic at the moment or never sell.

Hopefully a few months of no interest will make them see sense.

oh so your ready to view in the autum, i doubt very much house prices will have dropped that much by then, do you mean this autum or autum 2015?:p

No this autumn I have already seen big price reductions below what I was looking at in a nice area.

Looks like more sellers are getting the message finally and pricing to sell.

I would try a different EA, I changed EA and had much more luck with the 2nd one.
