He cried when he was banned from hpc...to this day he can not see why he was...go and look at the trouble he caused over there...he was a troll over there ..he misses the intellectual debate...don't you?
It is nice to see the value of your house going up'' Why ?
Unless you are planning to sell up and not live anywhere, I can;t see the advantage.
If you are planning to upsize the new house will cost more.
If you are planning to downsize your new house will cost more than it should
If you are trying to buy your first house its almost impossible.

yes, I wish they would move. They haven`t got the umph to start their own thread and they just `piggy back` other genuine threads. Come on chaps, have a bit of grace and leave us alone. We have enough stress selling our houses and we need to support each other

Kittie, well done! And I know exactly what you mean about packing - my conveyancer told me all my paperwork will be ready next week (I still need to supply some bits myself, I've just got retrospective building control approval for my double glazing, for instance) but there are a couple of boxes in the kitchen ready to go, right now :)

    Morning all

    Congratulations Kittie!!!

Full day of cleaning ready for photographs on Monday. Estate agents knocked £250 off my friends fees who is selling for more than I. Will be ringing this morning asking for the same ;)

How are you all this fine Saturday?

Well done Kittie, hope it all goes through smoothly for you :)

I have got a second viewing and a first viewer Monday/Tuesday so the EA is getting people in to look. House is now empty so will look bigger when people see it, and the EA will have keys so no reason for people to not get to see it at a time they want, EA will be working for their money as well

Packing is going to be a killer even though we can move over 4-6 weeks or so. I started yesterday and it took a few hours just to prepare crates of stuff etc and today we loaded up the car, an estate luckily and boy it holds a lot more than I thought. I wanted to do it early as it would give me a chance to add essentials if forgotten. First journey is going to be to thoroughly clean the new house and to fill the kitchen. Its pretty difficult here but would have been horrendous if we still had to accomodate viewers, so our sale came in the nick of time. We are hiring a van next weekend too, the day after completion and that is going to take some work to fill, judging by the work involved in filling the car. The object is to empty cupboards, shed etc whilst keeping the house nice `just in case.` We are going to take a chance and we`re about to store lots of stuff in the kitchen for the weekend as there is no way we can sort and fill a van in just a few hours

The moral is to start sorting and packing as soon as you have accepted an offer as it is bloomin hard and tiring

Or perhaps even start packing as soon as your property is on the market and put it into storage. That's what we have done. Congrats on the sale :j
