Hi Az, We have another viewing on Saturday, our 5th. N°2 didn't show.
From engaging the EA on the 25th Feb. we had nothing till the 22nd April.
Got the 'phone call this morning about Saturdays viewing, when SWMBO asked who it was from, I said a viewing in an hours time. :rotfl:
I've now got to explain the bruises!
BeeJay
Being thick - what/who is SWMBO? Good luck with your viewings0 -
SWMBO = she who must be obeyed, I know that one
Good luck!2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
The purpose of the thread, is to let us all let of steam, give one another support, and help us through the stress of trying to sell, in these difficlt times. All welcome. Share the highs and lows and damm right infurating!
I think that sums it up, where as its ok to try and give your opinion when asked for it in the main forums, this thread is for venting and offering support.
I don't think anyone here who is venting actualy wants their vent to be disected or judged as the whole point of letting off steam is so you can face the situation with a more level head after having done so.

In a nutshell, spot on!0 -
Evening all,
Anyway - chin up Elona - that's a big price difference, so I'm sure you won't have any problems. And as for monkeysbunny living with the old folks - that's an extreme measure just to avoid cleaning for viewers MB!!!!
:rotfl:haha yes it is rather but it is also to get ready for the wedding, and we have 2 dogs (the kids) and the house always looks better when they havnt been in it LOL, im also hoping the grass will grow better with out my youngest digging holes. A bit of mummy pampering never hurt anyone.
As for the price situation we are williing to take 5K less than our asking price, on the buyer that we had originally they offered 10k less and we finally accepted 7k less but i dont think we would do that again 5k is our limit, its priced at a nice price for the area, all 3 agents we had out said the same price, and people always expect a bit of movement so our movement is 5k.
Thank you to all posters0 -
Got 3 valuations done in the past week. Two said the same price, one said £5k-£10k lower than the other two. We are going to put it on for what the 2 EA's said as we need as much as possible for it (due to negative equity) and are in no rush to sell.
Just wondering when to put it on. Hoping for it to sell around August time to coincide with when we have saved enough deposit, but thinking of going on and put it on at the end of this month.
EA reckoned it would sell in about 6weeks but its how long is a piece of string really.
Any advice/opinions?
Thanks in advance.Squish0 -
You could always but it on now and it you do get a buyer stipulate that you want to exchange contracts with completion for August.

Yeah thats a good idea. Thanks.
Spose theres an option of me and OH moving in with family for a few weeks if it came to it.
Got a feeeling it will take longer than 6wks to sell though.Squish0 -
probably but you never know. if you tell your solicitors when you fill out the forms that you want a certain date then at least everyone knows
Thank you to all posters0
