Tesco voucher codes DISCUSSION ONLY! Thread 2

Have just spent over 1 1/2 hours at the Banbury store trying to exchange my vouchers for wine ones, only to find that it was 3:54pm. No way could I chose £80 worth of wine in less than 6 minutes! Customer services weren't helpful either, saying that I need to take it up with Clubcard as the offer has now expired.

I see from some posts that they may extend the offer for a few more days. However, my vouchers are for in-store and, as I only can get a lift every fortnight, will still be of no use.

I wish I had ordered online now (hindsight is a great thing)!

I have emailed Tesco explaining the situation and I hope, at the very least, I will get the basic amount of my vouchers refunded.

Judging by the complaints and grumbles to the store supervisors I heard when in the queue (and I expect this store was not an exception) I hope that Tesco will take all this on board as I still think their offers are good.

Not working now. Site very slow and keep getting error messages when I try to do the double up :mad:

I've just tried to redeem some points tokens that would be worth £350 at siblu and after the site accepted them it suddenly said they'd already been redeemed (they definitely haven't), I've tried to use remaining tokens for magazine subscriptions etc and get a site error message every time. Anyone else think this may be deliberate?

It's just about working now but I'm also being refused use of my vouchers! Someone has dropped the ball on this one. They had better sort this out and allow everyone to redeem vouchers tomorrow with the current offers...

Not yesterday no. But now, first thing today, yes. Just in time for 3x rather than 4x.

Never mind, was never on the cards, I just hoped it might happen, but they didn't get where they are by erring in favour of the punter...

Provided the vouchers have been converted to Exchange vouchers already, the offer has been extended to at least the 8th. And I believe that applies to both the store & on-line.

Thanks for your reply. I did read that it may have been extended. However, my problem is that my vouchers are for in-store only and I am unable to get to a store by 8th.

I have emailed Customer Services asking if they would change my vouchers to ecoupons so that I can order online, but haven't had a reply yet.

I hope that as so many people spent ages queuing or trying (and failing) to get online that Tesco will be reasonable in the circumstances.

Perhaps Martin could put his tuppence in with Tesco?!:money:
Hopefully the extended deadline will help a lot of people though.:D
