HI just bumping this to see if anyone can help me on this. Many thanks!

    Hi,
on the Tesco blurb it said 3 months but when the pack came it said 6 months. Didn't think much of BSM, my son is now using a local driving instructor who keeps him out for the full hour.

i was trying to be more adventurous than cashing in my tokens for cafe rouge and got some for pizza express which looks ok, but also strada and am not very keen on their menu. i have only just found out that most of the restaurants they use have special offers on all of the time anyway so will have re-think with next ones. so can i just go to pizza express and use my strada ones?

Finally, finally got my tokens through - having had them 'issued' on 11th November. Fingers crossed that the holiday company don't get arsey over the delay.

As Tesco have rolled over to a new points period (since 28th November or thereabouts) and now that they have the on-line notification of codes, will we get a window between the notification of the codes (in a day or two from now) and the 6th December (when the value moves from 4x to 3x) to exchange more vouchers at the 4x rate?

This window will only be a couple of days at most, but if, for example, it is to get Nationwide Auto tokens, which can be used up to 6 months from the date of issue, that doesn't matter. I can't see why we can't do this, but I can see that there will be chaos as some people realise you can do it, and some people don't, and also that some people will have their codes available in time and some people won't.

If this works, it seems odd that Tesco have set themselves up for this latest controversy, given the hoopla over the last set and the same issue (4x to 3x and the ludicrous delays between converting vouchers to tokens and actually receiving the tokens.

Does this make any sense at all?

    :o:o

Ooh I hope so! Still not showing on the website, but we've got a few days...

Also, me being slow, but why are we getting vouchers now? On the website it says we are in the collecting period 28/11/10 - 29/01/11, and we don't normally get any now?
I guess I've missed a notice - is it something to do with the change on 6 December? If so, it would seem to be pointless if we couldn't use the vouchers on the old 4x...

I'm interested in this, too. Is there an extra 'Christmas' issue due, and is there a date?

How can you tell it is offline - I can't see anything on the website. I was supposed to have a wine delivery today, which they confirmed by email this morning, but it hasn't appeared. I'm not too suprised, even though we only have a little snow here, but I had such a nightmare ordering it I was looking forward to a bottle! I'd requested 6 wine vouchers, but I could only use 5 of them & whatever I wanted to order was in stock on one page, then out of stock on the next. I got stuck in a cycle of going from one page to another with wine disappearing before my eyes :rotfl:

I just hope Tesco will honour the evoucher I couldn't use & also not charge me for a second delivery if I'm out when it does turn up. Their recorded message says they're shut, even though they should be open, so I can't call to see when they might be turning up.

After supervising homework & bathtime & cleaning up after dropping a tin of rice pudding on the floor, I could really do with a large glass of red...
& as for some happy ending I'd rather stay single & thin :D

I can tell it's offline because when I try to visit the site it says The Tesco Wine by the Case Website is currently undergoing planned maintenance work.

We're in the process of making some improvements and hope that you will be pleased with the results.

We're due to be back up and running on Monday with even more great offers on Wine by the case. Please visit again then.

Sorry for any inconvenience caused - we look forward to delivering to you soon.

Edit - although it works on IE

But it wont let me use my vouchers on anything

oh they've limited it to finest
    Nice to save.

Yes the 'current' collection period is 28/11/10 - 29/01/11, the last (Nov.) vouchers were up to 23/10/10, so vouchers are on there way for the period 24/10/10 - to - 27/11/10.
Nothing to do with the 'change' Tesco did a 'surprise' Christmas mailing last year, this year they did an extra at Easter time, and again now for Christmas.
It's a competitive retail market out there, sending clubcard vouchers, gives people an added reason to be in Tesco - and do their Christmas shopping! Moreover, shopping in store is where the majority of people use their CC vouchers.
I used to work for Tesco - now retired - speciality Clubcard

Thanks catman - somehow I didn't notice the extra mailings last Easter and Christmas :o!! I must have been very unobservant in my pre-MSE days, no wonder I got in such a mess!
