Tesco voucher codes DISCUSSION ONLY! Thread 2

Well nearly two weeks on and tokens still not received. As mentioned before, we got an email on Thursday 11th November stating 'order despatched', which as others have mentioned does not mean 'in the post' as you would expect.
So now stuck with wondering whether to ask Tesco to cancel and reissue - which takes time again, for them to send a form for us to sign, send it back and then have the tokens reissued. This would almost certainly mean we miss the holiday company's deadline, so not a great option.
So we stick with 'hoping' that they get sent and arrive soon. The holiday co have been good so far (Barcelo) as we told them yesterday what was (not) happening, but I wonder for how much longer.
Flights booked and paid for, travel insurance paid for - it's going to be a mess if Tesco fail to come through.
Not happy...

In the past we've used my mums Tesco vouchers for OU tokens (all at same address) - we had to send them back once issued as OU tokens to get them changed into my name. Does anyone know if you can do this with Virgin vouchers?Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

While Tesco in 'normal' times aim for five days, but it is quite normal in mailing periods (when vouchers have just gone out and people are converting them) - for 'deal' tokens to take in the region of two weeks - so IMHO this could be anticipated. The potential for a delay, is of course exaserpated by the extra demand prior to the changeover in Reward conversion multiple.I used to work for Tesco - now retired - speciality Clubcard0

When did your Father call last? I surprised, they didn't arrange a 'reissue' for him - which should arrive about the 29th Nov. The 'reissue' window opened on 18th but just for a week. Though, if he was told not till mid-Dec sounds like they have been 'rolled over'. I'm afraid if that is the case, that's when they will come out.I used to work for Tesco - now retired - speciality Clubcard0 -

Yes I've got £70 worth of clothing in my basket but have exchanged my points so it actually comes to £20 I have to pay and it seems it doesn't qualify for free delivery, despite the order being well over £50. Really pees me off having to pay for delivery when I've ordered so muchThere will always be:

Finally, finally got my tokens through - having had them 'issued' on 11th November. Fingers crossed that the holiday company don't get arsey over the delay.
As Tesco have rolled over to a new points period (since 28th November or thereabouts) and now that they have the on-line notification of codes, will we get a window between the notification of the codes (in a day or two from now) and the 6th December (when the value moves from 4x to 3x) to exchange more vouchers at the 4x rate?
This window will only be a couple of days at most, but if, for example, it is to get Nationwide Auto tokens, which can be used up to 6 months from the date of issue, that doesn't matter. I can't see why we can't do this, but I can see that there will be chaos as some people realise you can do it, and some people don't, and also that some people will have their codes available in time and some people won't.
If this works, it seems odd that Tesco have set themselves up for this latest controversy, given the hoopla over the last set and the same issue (4x to 3x and the ludicrous delays between converting vouchers to tokens and actually receiving the tokens.
Does this make any sense at all?:o
