Tesco voucher codes DISCUSSION ONLY! Thread 2

i'm getting a bit fed up of the voucher codes on this site / tesco.com because none of them work for me. i had to blag a voucher off cs and after complaining bitterly they swore i would get codes via email but so far nothing in my inbox. can anyone shed light as to why my tesco account wont accept codes - this is all of tesco.com i.e. wines, groceries and direct.
The systems are now more sophisticated and a lot of the vouchers (wine club, money off with statements etc) are account specific.

I've just completed my first Tesco online shop (just over £60.00) - it says at the bottom 'Use clubcard vouchers and eCoupon' - yet none of the 15-20 codes I've tried have worked.
I thought at least the £10 off first order would, but nothing. I'm not convinced I'm typing them in the right place, or are valid codes few and far between nowadays?0 -
I generally only use tesco online, very rarely use a real store. I get the money off vouchers in the mail and the vouchers that are pure money off the bill come with "online codes" that I assume allows you to use them at Tesco.com. But there is also a page of vouchers that give you money off specific products like 40p off Uncle Ben's Rice. These don't seem to have online codes on the vouchers, does that mean they can only be use in store? Is there no way to use them online?
These are promotional vouchers in 'normal' store format - with a barcode, you can get on-line specific ones, by opting for 'Ecoupons'.I used to work for Tesco - now retired - speciality Clubcard0 -

I really hope my tokens do arrive because if I don!!!8217;t get them (or the replacements should i need to order them) before December 4th, I will only be able to use £525 pp towards my Virgin holiday and not £700 which is the current limit. I!!!8217;ve been saving them up for two years so it!!!8217;s all very frustrating!
I think the crucial date for whether it's 4 x or 3 x is when you convert your clubcard vouchers - not when you receive your reward tokens.
I believe normally, reward tokens take about five days, but in a mailing period - when there is a bigger demand - it takes longer, because of the changes, seems understandable and indeed predictable that it would be longer.I used to work for Tesco - now retired - speciality Clubcard0 -

I am in the same position as Lazylion.... in ADDITION to the exchange rate changing from 4x to 3x, Virgin holidays are changing the maximum vouchers per passenger from £700 to £525. To make matters worse I have some vouchers that I converted a while back that expire on the 30th of Nov. I'd be interested to hear how long your vouchers take to arrive Lazylion..... The sceptical part of me wonders if Tesco are dragging their heals on purpose!! :huh:0 -
I am hoping for some advice, my parents have been doing the christmas saving scheme through out the year of clubcard points, they havent recieved their vouchers and about a week ago they made there 1st call to c/s and were told dont worry they are on there way, after still no delivery another call was made. My parents were wanting to double up there £180 for toys, clothes etc for xmas prezzies. To cut a long story short he cancelled the vouchers not knowing he could double up online incase they had got in the wrong hands!! he has now been told that the vouchers will not arrive until the 15th Dec well after the doubling up finishes,c/shave told me sorry but there is nothing they can do, any ideas if theres something they can do.
Thanks in advance0
