  • Hello,

Has anyone else experienced slow delivery of thier clubcard deal vouchers?

I placed three lots of orders, the first one was dispatched by Tesco on the 9th November they arrived on the 13th. The second and third orders were allegedly dispatched just a day later on 10th November and they still haven’t arrived.

Any feedback will be great as its driving me mad now as they're holiday vouchers and i just want to book as the prices are increasing everyday!
  • Mine were dispatched on 9th November and still haven't received them. I'm wondering if a) they are using second class post and b) whether the email doesn't actually mean they've left the building as such...

i ordered e vouchers on sunday and said were being sent via royal mail rang tuesday and the guy gave me the numbers still no sign on e voucher email but the clothes i ordered have just arrived
    so might be worth ringing
  • I rang tesco yesterday and enquired if the date on the e-mail was the date they left the building, I was told that it was the date that Royal mail collected the letters from the building, still I’m not convinced!

I was also sent an e-mail which stated that

‘As your tokens are sent by second class mail, it can take 5 to 6 working days for them to be delivered.

If your tokens are not with you within this timescale, we need you to wait until 14 days has elapsed from date of dispatch. If your tokens have still not arrived after this timescale, we can class them as lost in post.

You then need to contact us on the free phone number below. We will send you an indemnity form which we need you to complete, sign and return before we can reissue your tokens.’

I really hope my tokens do arrive because if I don’t get them (or the replacements should i need to order them) before December 4th, I will only be able to use £525 pp towards my Virgin holiday and not £700 which is the current limit. I’ve been saving them up for two years so it’s all very frustrating!

  • This is probably a bit of a "beginners question". I generally only use tesco online, very rarely use a real store. I get the money off vouchers in the mail and the vouchers that are pure money off the bill come with "online codes" that I assume allows you to use them at Tesco.com. But there is also a page of vouchers that give you money off specific products like 40p off Uncle Ben's Rice. These don't seem to have online codes on the vouchers, does that mean they can only be use in store? Is there no way to use them online?

cheers, great site and great community by the way.

My envelope carries a "DHL Globalmail" logo and an "S - postage paid GB" indication. S for Second, maybe?

The covering letter is dated 12th November.

i'm getting a bit fed up of the voucher codes on this site / tesco.com because none of them work for me. i had to blag a voucher off cs and after complaining bitterly they swore i would get codes via email but so far nothing in my inbox. can anyone shed light as to why my tesco account wont accept codes - this is all of tesco.com i.e. wines, groceries and direct.

A few months back I had some that took 3 wks to arrive. When I rang up, I was told that the dispatch email didn't mean that they were on their way, merely that they were 'in the process'.
    Different person, different answer.
Either way, they take a lot longer than they used to.
    Now proud Mumto3 :j
