I'm desperately trying to get a Direct voucher to work on a big order I'm putting in of £80 using the odubled up vouchers. Why will none of them work? Any help would be greatly appreciated (in the next 20 mins if possible before midnight!).....
  • General tip :

If anybody has placed an online order and had a temporary clubcard number generated you usually only can see the last 4 digits of the number when you go to your account details

However today I found out you can see the whole number using this web page

    http://www.tesco.com/help/jump.asp?choiceA=1&choiceB=1

Personally I find this really useful because I always try to link any temporary clubcard numbers to my main clubcard account so I do not lose any clubcard points

In order to link them you have to phone customer services and being able to qoute the full temporary number means they do not have to try to find it by searching through all the clubcard numbers linked to your postcode (potentially embarassing if like me you have lots of different numbers !)

So what happens if you exchange your vouchers and then couldn't use them? Mine are all being rejected...even just using the normal voucher codes that I didn't exchange :(

Do they go back into your balance or have I just lost them all?!

They won't go 'back' automatically, but you could send any unused exchange vouchers to head office - Tesco Clubcard, freepost, SCO 5043, Baird Avenue, Dundee, DD2 9XU - quoting your clubcard no and name & address, together with a short explanatory note.

I exchanged them online, so they're e-vouchers or whatever they're called :( I got them via email and then added things to my basket but forgot to go back on and use them! So now I've lost £10 worth of vouchers :(

You normally get a seperate sheet which you fill into send to mag company with name, recipient details etc.
Best to ring clubcard and get them to resend letter I think.
