For over 2 years ive been collecting points from Tesco from shopping and buying petrol, vouchers used to come through the door but i threw them away thinking that i would (Like nectar points) just build them up. However when i went to reclaim my points, i found out all i had was £1, if this is the case, i will NEVER buy anything from Tesco again, i have lost out on A LOT and i am not happy!!!0

You won't have been the first who 'assumed' that, and no doubt you won't be the last.
Though how the Tesco Clubcard works is on the joining leaflet, the post that is sent, the website, and the TV adverts.
But do not dispair - they are not LOST, ring clubcard 0800 591688, they will be able to see all your unused vouchers (for the last two years), and convert them back to points for you. Then in the next mailing (Feb.) you'll get the lot in one go.
As you probably realise now, it is not like Nectar, you can't take points off the card, you can only spend the vouchers that get sent out.I used to work for Tesco - now retired - speciality Clubcard0 -
Thanks for the great info.
If this is the case how do I NOT get vouchers sent out so I can store up the points and later use them for the rewards programme?0 -
hi, just a quick question, i redeemed my clubcard vouchers for park resorts holiday vouchers, i've now booked my holiday but i've still got £50 worth to use, i was just wondering if anyone knew if i can use them for other deals of if tesco would be able to refund me to the value of clubcard vouchers
thankswins so far:- absolutely nothing, not even an arguement:mad:0 -
Hello.
Does anyone know of a good Tesco Direct code? I am looking to spend around £100 on a pushchair they have on sale. I don't think I've ordered from them before so a new customer code should work.
Thanks.0 -

I repeat - you can NOT spend your points (so why would you want to save them), you can only spend the vouchers that get sent out, at certain periods.
You can either spend them in the store, or use them for 'Rewards' - if the latter is more than you have - save them in a safe place till you have enough - the vouchers have a life of two years i.e. valid until.
Though, some people go into the Christmas Club whereby their points accumulate till the November mailing - but then they can't use them for any promotions during the year.I used to work for Tesco - now retired - speciality Clubcard0 -

Tesco were emailing £10 off £100 at Direct codes in December - now ended. But if you went to the thread on HUKD and asked nicely, somebody would probably give you an unwanted code.0 -
I've been sent an email, to an old address, offering me extra cc points if I do my next three shops at Tesco. I've tried using the codes on my tesco account, with the email address I use now but they are not accepted.
If I were to shop using my old address and then use the codes, get the points, could I phone CS and say I wanted them transfered over to my new account? Not long ago they transfered the points I had on old accounts accross to my new one, would they do this again or would see straight through it?0 -

They wouldn't 'transfer points' but they would merge accounts together for you - giving you a combined total.I used to work for Tesco - now retired - speciality Clubcard0
