Thanks so much for all of your lovely messages! :D:o You're all lovely!

I'm afraid to say that it wasn't very romantic! We have been talking about it for about a year now, and we were in town on Saturday 1st August and we were looking at rings, I got a bit annoyed as he still hadn't asked & then he just asked! I thought he was being silly & he told me he wasn't ... and I blushed and smiled like a cheshire cat! I picked the ring up on the Tuesday and when he got home he got down on one knee & asked me properly! I'm so in love in with him. I know that makes me sound like a 14 year old school girl but it's very true! :p

Karma has given me my bad luck though ... at the weekend I visited my sister & on the spur of the moment decided to dye my hair blonde. I'm mousey brown naturally but usually go a red or plummy colour. So I put the pre-lightener on & went ORANGE!! Bright orange!! With platinum roots! So two pre-lighteners & three shades of honey blonde later & my hair feels like straw & looks ginger! And not a nice shade of ginger at that!! It's still got a orange tinge!

Also, I'm not feeling brilliant. Feel like I have a cold coming and knowing me it's bound to be swine flu!!

LB has been at work since Monday morning and not due home until tomorrow evening! He was in Wales on Monday & Up North the rest of the time. I'm missing him so much! And a week off was lovely but now I need something fun to do ...

Oh & being the drama queen that I am very concerned about a mole on my arm! It's got a very dark black spot to one side, which I'm sure isn't good! I'm such a looser honestly!

But on the plus side I have been a productive bunny! I have:

    1. Cut the grass (which was above my knees! No joke.)
    2. Cut the hedge out front (which was touching the cars parked on the road.)
    3. (Tried to) Make good the walls in the lounge. (Been meaning to do that since we moved in!)
    4. Tidied to entire downstairs (which looked like a bomb had gone off. Now only the upstairs to do!)
    5. Finished my NVQ (lest my CV to type up & email to assessor - it was on work computer!)
    6. Found an office in my home town (just having to OK it with the head office now)
Still to do the wood work in the bathrooms & I need to paint the wall in the bathroom. And cleaning the house upstairs.

Really looking forward to LB coming home :D

Now off to peer into other peoples worlds ...

Hi KJ, I start on Tuesday 1st September. I'm bored out of my tiny mind!! House is immaculate but I still have my CV to type up & two books to read for my course but I am seriously lacking the motivation! All I want to do is the garden but I can't really do that at the moment - need to level off the grass & build up boarders & stuff like that which costs money & strong boy!

    Need to get motivation ...
