    OMG sorry but i really laughed reading this! you should tell her your thinking of liquidising a McDs for his tea tonight!

    i have a thing for firemen:o and OH has just walked in with a firemans jacket(a real one!) on cue me drooling lol!:rolleyes:

    Nooo, she'd only take it as permission to do something equally stupid! :rolleyes:

    I have my very own fireman at home, but don't actually have a thing for firemen.. Mind you, he's currently drooling on the sofa so not looking all that attractive, even to me! :o Rhys was asleep on him but is now awake, slapping his hands down on OH's chest.. so funny to watch, although I probably should stop him and let OH sleep..

    Thought it was time I had breakfast.. pate on toast - missed it for the last nine months!
  • Elle I can totally sympathise with the MIL problems - we took Ruby to see her last week ( she hasnt seen her since Feb and wasnt walking then) and she made a comment sayin the girl next door had the same colour hair as Ruby but not to worry as it was gorgeous blond now:confused: I said I wasnt worried and loved her hair colour but inside I was seething. We get so many comments ( nice ones) about it, its like a light auburn and is really quite curly now. Just to add she will NEVER look after my little one after some of the things I have heard my OH say about his upbringing.

    Elle, now you see you really are a proper mum now having your breakfast at half three in the afternoon, I reckon it will start to sink in fairly fast now!

    PP, Rhys is a gorgeous light auburn too, but then so was I when I was little and so is OH's sister. OH is blonde and I'm dark now so Rhys could go either way! I want hair like Rhys - straight when dry and curly when wet - mine is just a mass of curls and only straight after a battle with the straighteners (reserved only for occasional yummy mummy days now, methinks!).

    I don't want MIL looking after Rhys also because she smokes (no offence meant to anyone here, but I just don't like it personally) and also has a massive dog which scares me, never mind little Rhys. Meant to say earlier when MM mentioned Dylan being picked up, MIL has never held Rhys and doesn't appear to want to.. fine by me!

    Sorry, will stop ranting now :D

    ARGH, my bloody MIL (that's Monster-in-law).. She just txt asking if she could come round and OH told her no. Then she turned up regardless.. :mad:
    I wouldn't have let her in, just shouted through the letter box for here to sling 'er 'ook!
    :mad::mad::mad:

    I am so fed up of cars that park on the pavement.

    I swear I am going to make some signs up that say
    I CANNOT PASS YOUR CAR WITH MY BUGGY
    YOU ARE PUTTING MY CHILD AT RISK BY MAKING US WALK ON THE ROAD
    NEXT TIME I WILL SQUEEZE PAST AND SCRATCH YOUR CAR
    :mad::mad::mad::mad:

    If I print if off on a big sticker and stick it on their windscreen do you think that they will get the message?
    Maybe, I just scratch them :o:p
    I get soo angry over parked cars :p Why is it that people coming to pick someone up from the train station look at our house (a mid terrace with a drive at the front) and think hmm shall I park in front of either of the houses without a drive? no I'll just park slap bang across this drive with a car parked on it!:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

    Edgar's hair has got a red tinge to it and I'm desperately hoping he gets more! I love red heads :D
    Mum keeps saying he looks like my sis when she was a bubba and she has lovely strawberry blonde hair *fingers crossed*

    MFD - we have a baby jail but its all metal no kushy fabric panels on ours :rotfl:

    PS. been to boobie group today and there was another toddler for Chris to play with which was nice until she showed him how if you press both taps on the water cooler for ages you get a nice water fall cascading down the cooler :shocked: I also fed Edgar while Chris was playing on the slide outside :D I feel to brave, Ed didn't too much like the wind blowing through his hair tho, kept putting him off

    oh and Bailey if you're here I deleted your request to join the FB group :o can you re-request to join? - will send msg on FB too so I don't miss you :)

    Weezl - making your own bumper would be very easy esp with a sewing machine ;)
    Just need to measure the perimeter on crib/cot/cotbed and get some wadding that length and fabric a bit longer just make one big rectangle a bit like a pillow case putting ribbon in the seem at even spaced bits, shove wadding in and then sew up and prob stitch a line at the corners to stop it bunching up when washed and so it folds easier, does that make any sense to you? (I am aware that although its clear in my head it may not be when typed up :p)
