Seconded! I'm really excited about it
. (Can you tell I don't get out much!)
Thirded, although, I've not decided yet if I'm going to admit to being me or if I'm just going to hide behind my friend! I'm shy, no really I am, stop laughing, I am!My_Fathers_Daughter wrote: »You have thought about it haven't you!!! But when all our kids will be growing up with the same expectation I am sure you will crumble as soon as Annabel finds out she is getting less than her friends
What's block feeding Feelie?
Can't be bothered separating them so:
ctfs: Celia's uncle (my BIL) has set up a savings account for her that he plans to put £25 in each Birthday and Christmas. She gets it when she's 18 on the proviso that she doesn't spend it on something sensible! I think it's a genius idea I plan to themn stipulate that the ctf must be spent on something sensible!
Block feeding: Feeding each feed off one side, the baby gets more hind milk, and in theory settles for longer. The downside is that it's a bit limiting for them (if they're thirsty and would rather have more fore milk for example) and the milk gets more wrk the longer they're on which can be knackering and/or frustrating! We do block feeding mostly though. As we had thrush for so long I usually had cream on one side so I'd feed her off the other and we've stuck with it now it's finally gone!redmel1621 wrote: »A friend of mine had a baby like this, they ended up just buying a sling to carry him around the house in...he grew out of it slowly and they found they could put him down for longer and longer periods (eventually)
As for going out...probably a case of either don't go, OR tell your mum she is going to have a nightmare with her and hope she will still babysit?x
I have a baby like that, I don't go out! (nobody mention the brilliant tkts I had for Metallica in February, I'll start crying again!) It's working though she's getting gradually more independant, I think it really helped when she learned to crawl :-)Comping, freebieing and trying to pay the mortgage off early!0 -

Ethel Austin, it was the only place my minions could find them (The child didn't travel for a long time and the places I could get to didn't have any so I had to send people for me)My_Fathers_Daughter wrote: »....are you a Spook :j:j:j

Im using OH's laptop right now, not looking forward to him coming home and having to tell him I broke mine it wasnt too long ago that he got it for me! I was going to sit at the table earlier and had a bit of a dizzy spell and dropped it and the screen bounced off the corner of the table!
Wonder if he will let me have his?
