No I've not tried them, will look now, good thinking. It might be that asda only make them in bigger sizes in the winter, so other stores have got some left over? Who knows.... not a great deal I can do about it anyway!
Have you got a sling sparkle? It might make life a bit easier if you have your hands free at least? Other than that, if you are able to spend a bit more time with your mum (or whoever) so baby is used to them, then maybe you can have 3 people on the list of people baby is fine with? Obviously it would depend on who is around and available. Izzy sees my mum more than she does DH at the moment, as my mum doesn't work (well... she doesn't get paid by anyone anyway, just looks after a massive house and garden, my grandad, my granny, and has been helping me with our housework and allotment too over the past few weeks!!!) so we get to see her during the day. She will be looking after Izzy one day a week when I go back to work, so I'm starting to leave Izzy with her for half a day and build up, so she can get used to not being with me, and I can get some stuff done.

Feelie, hope you get what you need from your appointment! Good Luck x
Elle hope all goes well with bringing little Rhys home today!
Having good nights bad days here! Lexi has slept for 12-13 hours the past three nights, which is amazing as she is only just 12 weeks but our days are awful, she wont let me put her down and just wants to be walked around all the time! She also wont go to anyone but me and her dad, its driving me insane! Has anyone got any tips on how to get through this clingyness? I am supposed to be going out on Friday evening but I cant leave her at my mums if she is going to be like this...
Thanks x
A friend of mine had a baby like this, they ended up just buying a sling to carry him around the house in...he grew out of it slowly and they found they could put him down for longer and longer periods (eventually)
As for going out...probably a case of either don't go, OR tell your mum she is going to have a nightmare with her and hope she will still babysit?

oh I don't feel I can say now cos the truth is so much less glamorous;)
oh go on then
well the London train was to get to Bristol each day, and I work in mental health. As it's with young people, the concern was that they might look me up on fb and it would blur boundaries.
As for being everyone else's fb friend and not yours.... as if, you noodle!

Thanks ladybird and mel, I may try a sling we wanted one anyway for when we take the pooches out as they dont like the pram all that much! As for friday my mum knows what a horror bag Lexi is being at the moment and is adamant that I am going out as 'I need a break' - I love my mum! She says crying babies dont phase her at all and they dont. Its just my maternal guilt tugging at me trying to make me stay home..... Oh well she will grow out of it even if it takes five years :rotfl: honestly though I have to laugh or I will go insane!
