That's not mental Sami...the thought of meeting you ladies makes me nervous too - but it would be better to meet loads of you at once than one at a time - that way I don't need to speak to anyone for too long if I don't like them :rotfl::rotfl:
    :eek::p
But he really cried! Oh dear, I'm definitely going to have a spoilt baby aren't I?

I'd come to and up north meet, but I don't think my Mum would let me. I'd be staying with her, and she barely lets me hold the baby, let alone take him out of the house!
    Bring her with! :)
    My boys like the hoover:confused:
    Morning all!
My baby can roll over, dont actually know when they usually do, he's 13 weeks now.
I put him on his back under his playgym thingy and went into the kitchen, when I came back he was on his tummy, why do they always do it when noones around?
Ryan is definatley got a cold :(
He slept really well last night, bottle at 10.15pm, straight back to sleep then woke up at 5am!
We are waiting to see if DS1's school is being shut because of swine flu, there are 2 cases and they said if they get one more case, school is gonna shut
errm well at least it's almost summer hols so he's not missing much :undecided that doesn't help does it?

Anyone else freaked out by this?
Some even feel more sexual than their bottle-feeding peers, finding breastfeeding an extremely pleasant and even sensual experience that can translate into amorous feelings for their partner

brilliant!!! I've now read 4 books from cover to cover and all of them suggest thte CIO or CC method, although some really push it as the only option, others offer it while recognising it's not for everyone. I'm really keen to try it - but OH really isn't keen. we've been up since 3.30am this morning with an hours sleep 7-8am. She had her normal 9.30am nap at 10am. I'm still hoping for a decent lunchtime sleep for both her and me!!! I'm glad it's working for you Bruno. Any tips????:rotfl:

    Thanks :)
Not sure enough that it's working yet to give proper tips!

But I would say, don't try it until both you and partner are fully on-board and ready to try it, and agree the parameters in advance etc. When baby is screaming and wailing and desperate for you to come in and save him from his terrible fate, you may well both feel pretty stressed and it's a bad time to discuss who will go in and for how long and under what circumstances.

its strange that our babies all seem to do things at the same time, seth slept through for the first time in 2-3 weeks last night!

well done elijah especially of all the sleepy babies, what an achievement!!! :j

mac, the baby whisperer thing is really working for us at the moment, despite a wibble from OH this morning when seth didnt close his eyes and go straight off to sleep  after less than 5 mins he emerged from the bedroom announcing that he needed a feed and NO WAY would he go off until he had one - funny that, cos 10 mins later he was fast asleep with no feed

Oh my lord Sami - where have you found that quote from?

If anything it is the other way - when hubby goes near his 'love pillows' I feel like slapping him away and saying 'They're Benjamins now' :rotfl:

  • Forgot to say - the other lady at the christening today who was breastfeeding expressed a bottle for the church and then went to feed in the car whilst we had lunch in the pub...could you really be !!!!!d for the sake of a possible flash of nipple

    edit ^^^^ says ar5ed LOL!

Er, no! I did go feed in the car last time we went to a wedding but that was because there was no-where else to sit down.

    Ew, that' not normal, surely!

Good news today - we have a nursery place for Mondays and Wednesdays :j. (Were on the waiting ilst, but didn't know if we would get in on time). Now really need to get those name lables ordered!

[strike]DH[/strike] we need a bit of re-education in this house. When mobiles are unplugged the chargers need to be unplugged and put away. Plastic bags need to be emptied and put away and scissors and medicine most definitely do NOT live on the floor .

Very unproductive today, as we are getting on like a house on fire (lots of screaming). No idea what the matter is . Baby has finally gone to sleep on me now, but I bet she won't let me put her down. Wish me luck!

    Hi all..

    Well done to Elijah! :D

Fabulous news here.. Rhys took a whole feed from a bottle at 4am this morning - all 45ml :D:D So glad I didn't take them up on their offer and sleep through or I would have missed it :o He's pulled his tube out twice this morning, including whilst there was still milk going down it as I was still feeding him this morning when the consultant decided then would be a good time to measure his head circumference. Despite getting covered in milk (or maybe because of that?!;)), she's still letting him come home tomorrow! :D:D:D

I'm at home at the moment. Living room carpet is down - thank goodness I still like it; had forgotten what colour is was! - kitchen vinyl is going in now, and bathroom is next.. Oh, hold on, kitchen is finished.. best make the guy a cuppa! :)
