I tried a few different pills. I tried a mini pill which was ok for a couple of months but then I just started bleeding really heavily for no reason. It was on a weekend as well. It got to the point where I was soaking a thick night time sanitary pad in an hour, so I had to go to A&E and had an injection and got some other tablets which stopped it. That put me off trying other mini pills.
I tried Microgynon and another brand but they gave me really bad headaches and I felt nauseous all the time.
I tried Cilest and that one has been fine. I've had no side effects at all and no surprise babies! I've been on it for a few years now, and it only took 5 months to fall pregnant with Charlotte when I stopped taking it.Here I go again on my own....0 -

Dh has had a go at fixing the YLOD on the PS3, he is just putting it all back together now, so will see if it has worked (I hope so).
Mel xhe was quite happy to let me do the washing up while he bounced around at the kitchen door and watched me - thats practically a first, he wont let me put him in his bumbo or bouncy chair for the duration of a washing up session. love it
well i must say a huge thank you to AF who sent me her baby whisperer book, its day two of following it now and seth is going off to sleep much better and going much longer between feeds :T
we arent doing it 100% as she says, we are lying next to him on the bed but not touching him til he goes off, and when he gets a overtired whinge on i stroke his eyebrow til he stops and then i stop. but he hasnt been cuddled to sleep since thursday night now :T i'm hoping it will make the transition from our bed to his cotbed (one week tomorrow!!) easier. i will carry on the same tomorrow and then the next day i will put a chair next to the bed and sit in that and see how we get on then.Mummy to

See, THAT'S going to be a well presented request, with answers to the likely objections already in place!
Darned tootin' it isI've started drafting it already LOL Once I get to a point of having to hand it in I will happily share it with anyone wanting a laugh - I'm not going to post it on here though - just in case HR do a search for some reason
Then again I often present business cases to clients so surely I can present one to allow me to remain at home most of the time (actually I'd settle for 3 days a week - that woudl allow me 1 day in the main office with my manager (assuming SHE bothers to come in...) and 1 day either in one of my other 2 offices OR out on site with clients). As at present all my clients are having to put up with no site visits for their monthly meetings (and actually no reporting or meetings either) then ANY presence from me again should be seen as a bonus upon my return and it's obviously been proved that it's not essential. Ofcourse the danger is they decide they don't actually need our department... in which case I'll be cracking open the Champagne - 80% income protection insurance in case of redundancy, seperate insurance on my main credit cards and car loan + any redundancy pay and minimal outgoings financially as no travel or expensive lunches... Bring on redundancy I say! :j:j:jDFW Nerd #025DFW no more! Officially debt free 2017 - now joining the MFW's!

Is it okay to wear white trousers to a wedding? I'm wearing a deep purple top, so not sure what colour trousers to go to. Its in Early September.Stay-at-home, attached Mummy to a 23lb 10oz, 11 month old baby boy.0

I think it's ok.
I went to a wedding when Charlotte was 3 weeks old and wore beige trousers and a brown, gold and beige patterned floaty top, and thought I looked quite smart. Easy access for breast feeding rather than lifting a whole dress up
It was a lovely hotel. Our table got called up to the hot buffet a couple of minutes after Charlotte had just latched on! The waitress noticed and went an fetched me a plate of food, and had cut it into bite size pieces so I could eat it one handedHere I go again on my own....0 -
feelie its fine, I wore white trousers to a wedding last year with a dark red top and red shoes and I think I looked quite nice and smartThe two best things I have done with my life

There's a cry that babies do when they are hungry which releases a hormone in a woman's brain called oxytocin, which is part of the trigger of your let down response. It could be that
It's also an amnesiac (oxytocin) have you ever had it where you dial a phone number, then roo cries, and then you've completely forgotten who you just dialled?:rotfl:
Hope DH made the dinner
