our doctor wont prescribe something we dont need at that moment in time so it would be very hard to get them on prescription from him! no doubt we'll be in for something else so i will mention it then on the off chance but i dont hold any hope on getting any off him
Have you tried just requesting the prescription without seeing the Dr? Our surgery has a little box where you request repeat prescriptions and I have always just requested routine things like calpol / gaviscon etc without actually seeing the Dr, if there's a problem they've telephoned me but usually the prescription is just sitting there next time I go in...

Just reminded me I haven't actually registered Caitlyn with the Dr... I should really do that...

if you regester with you local chemist you can get calpol etc from them, it is usually their own brand but does the same job and is free. the scheme is called Emas. its for minor ailments.

Oooh, my friend that did our family photoshoot on Saturday has given me a weblink so I can view the pictures online, if anyone wants to see then PM me and I'll give you the link and password... The photos are so lovely... Apart from the ones with me on obviously lol...

Caitlyn had another screaming fit earlier... Nowhere near as bad as the other night, she calmed down a lot quicker and went right into a deep sleep so hopefully she'll wake up in a good mood...

Oh bums, just remembered it's a swimming night... Best get things ready for tea now so they're good to go when we get back... Although hubby's at the dentist this afternoon so he might get back before us and put it on...

I know this happened to us with scottish power! So we switched to SSE. OH is an IT Analyst for them so we also get a staff discount! Bonus!
All companies are a pain in the B imo - they all take money which doesnt belong to them  when we were with Scottish Power they owed us hundreds and went on to tell us aswel as carrying the overpayment over they would be putting up our monthly direct debit!
Every single time I have moved house the meter readings (both move out and move in) have been wrong such that I'm over charged. (Except for the place where I couldn't convince anyone I was their customer.) I'm sure they do it on purpose 'cause they know most people won't check.

what a night! Roo woke up whilst it was still dark and then just wouldn't settle, my back is killing me and I need sleep!
I decided that OH could have a night of sleep as it IS his birthday today but that was probably a bad idea :( I ended up sat feeding the Roo with tears streaming down my cheeks just wishing she'd go to sleep so I could get at least a couple of hours but no dice... I was also hoping hubby would wake up and offer to help out but HA! If he did then he decided to pretend to sleep through it. So now I'm knackered and in a bad mood with hubby which isn't really his fault and it's his birthday *sigh*
Everything seems disproportionally horrid today and I just want to get out of the house and hide from the mess :(
Hubby won't be home till fairly late as he's in the office 2 hours from home with clients from the US - he's also using my car instead of his so I don't even have my comfy car to go out in :(

On the up side I got my £140 worth of Tesco vouchers from the mobile I recycled a couple of weeks ago :) Might go spend some of them on ME!

MrsT - just wanted to say that we have all done this at some point. Hope you managed to get out and about today and things are looking a bit brighter for you.

Just wanted to report that the lady with the baby girl that I met in the hospital then stalked (remember I put a note through her mothers letterbox addressed to Emilys Mummy and asking Emiliy's Nana to pass it on!!) CAME TO BOOBY CLUB TODAY :T:T

She apologised for taking so long to turn up (it has been 7 weeks!) and said she did write me a note back but wasn't sure which house I lived in :D

She is lovely and has sorted out her MIL to look after her 3 year old son every Wednesday morning so she can join us a Booby Club!! YAY!!

Oh and we had tuna AND cheese sandwiches today - not quite as wierd as last week but not your regular cold sandwich that's for sure.

You said your OH tries to get out of doing things for Caitlin, do you think its because he's not sure if girls work the same as boys? iyswim? sorry that hasnt come across as I wanted it to but hope you know what I mean?

I dont think its because she is a girl just because she is the little one and cant tell you whats wrong.

It looks a bit funny where I had to make a comment go onto two lines but it's better than when I tried to post it direct into MSE.
