I've had no AF yet - and she was 20 weeks old, yesterday. (those 20 weeks went a lot faster than the 20 weeks between scan and due date!). Should I be worried?
I was told that BF would mean I'd have post birth bleeding for longer but would prob not have any periods until around when he was sleeping through but my bleeding was completely gone after 2 weeks and now I've got a period PAH!I'm obviously just 'special'
Hello Angel(didn't want to put AF after talking about the other AF
)
Thanks for that, I shall have to get googling tomorrow, see what info I can find x0 -

Maz - I checked and you can sell stamps on ebay :T
Also a tip for everyone - there's people who have collected stamps that have escaped the royal mails scribbling and you can buy them for cheap :money:
Anyone else as sad as me and gets excited when you get an untouched stamp you can re-use? :rotfl:0 -
angelfairy wrote: ».. speaking of AF... when i went to the doc for the pill and have the one you use when breastfeeding as i was expressing at the time (and am still trying), she told me i could start taking it at six weeks after the birth, no need to wait for AF. that is what i did anyway.
Really? Ohh.. Rhys is six weeks old today!OH will be pleased.. Hadn't gotten round to reading the leaflet that came with the pills I picked up last week but I think I might go find it now!
ETA: Aww.. the leaflet says 21 days after birth for immediate protection, or use something extra for the first seven days if you start later. No mention of waiting for a first AF tho'.. handy, I barely had any after coming off the combined pill or whilst on the mini-pill (same one as I have ready here). Only time I've been regular is whilst TTC and that didn't take long either time!.. Anyone else as sad as me and gets excited when you get an untouched stamp you can re-use? :rotfl:
Nope, I used to do that at work too! Ahh.. don't miss work at all
Speaking of work, one of my colleagues text me the other day asking if she could come see me tomorrow at the hospital. I replied saying I hadn't done the work she'd asked me for, and her reply was "Don't be silly; I want to see you and Rhys not talk about work - it's my day off!"... *sigh of relief*0 -

Only twice! I bled for about 8 weeks after birth though. And she's not sleeping through yet. We already knew you were special Sami!money_maker wrote: »And just to prove he loves his mummy, I got thrown up on and peed on all on his first day in his cot on Saturday :rotfl:
Yey for pee and puke! Now he just needs to poop on you and you have the full set. :rotfl::beer:0 -

OH has exclusively BF through-out; she didn't stop bleeding completely til around 8 weeks, pretty much tapering off in 2-week tiers, but she did over-exert a bit at first after a tough birth, which may have contributed. First AF at 4 months, then 5.5(!), then 9.5, then 10.5... so pretty random, but last one was a 30-day gap so maybe settled down. And Elijah is nowhere near sleeping through regularly yet!0 -

Sami, I had similar then nothing more for almost a year so you never know!0 -
Did a Venture photo experience thingy yesterday with the intention of buying some nice family pics.
What a shambles it was! The previous appointmnet had arrived very late, so they were running way behind. We finally got into the studio 40 minutes after the appointment time. By this time, the next appointment had turned up and were waiting.
Our session was very rushed and the photographer wasn't very good with Charlotte. He didn't seem to understand that two year olds don't smile and pose when you tell them to! On quite a lot of them Charlotte is sucking her thumb or has her hands over her face, as we didn't have time to get her to smile for the camera. Only got 25 mins in the studio rather than the hour the voucher promised.
Going back to view the pictures on Tuesday but the cheapest one costs £245 and prices go up to £2K  There's no way I can afford that, so I'm just going to get my free one with the voucherHere I go again on my own....0
