Mazcabs, I do the postal survey as well, have you come up with any good ideas for the stamps? I've been doing the survey for 18 months or so and I've got hundreds of stamps particularly the large letter ones, apart from selling the odd book to my mother and sister they just pile up in the bureau.
Elle Gee normally I'd recommend getting a grobag, they really are brilliant but babies used to have to be a certain weight before they could go in them so perhaps not ideal yet for RhysMFW Start Sep 07 £79484, Now £587740 -
how about a big fruit basket? or a selection of biscuits, tea, coffee, mags? then they would all get to take advantage over their breaks? apart from that im at a blank??? or even just a donation to the SCBU?

Elle...re the thank you cards, we took a photo of Rose and got some Bonusprint but I think most of the photo companies do them. I hope this works but this is the one we did

caz I had thought of doing a basket up for them, but wasnt sure. Do you think they would like a snack basket? I could put a box of chocs, some biscuits, some fruit and some other little bits and pieces. The two best things I have done with my life

I do my postal surveys,£6 a time. (I also get 16 free stamps a month for this if anyone is interested in doing it) We also bought a paddling pool for £6 and had great fun playing in it yesterday as it was nearly 30 degrees !!!money_maker wrote: »elle, we are doing the same re the party. Hopefully we will still have a bit of good weather for about a week after Dylan is home as no one has met him yet since only parents are allowed into the NICU.
As for thank you cards, there are some lovely personalised ones on ebay that you can order
These are the ones like

And if you think of something to give the nurses, please let me know, cuz I wasnt too keen on the box of chocs idea either, and I only have 2 days to think of something !!!money_maker wrote: »caz I had thought of doing a basket up for them, but wasnt sure. My sister and the other medical peeps once got a cinema gift card from a patient, everyone liked that
Otherwise cake and biscuits generally go down well on her ward, I'd avoid fruit as it's a bit too perishable
There are usually some offers on the bags and tubs of nice snack things in M&S that might be good0 -
