I was able to go out, not sure I'll manage it next time. What do doctors do about agoraphobic parents? Don't suppose they'd give him jabs at home would they?

I do agree with CG , keep talking to the professionals and anything that helped you last time do it again! But, when they stuffed up the appointment for Celia's 8 week jabs (she was 7 weeks 6 days so they wouldn't do it, and they'd invited us to the app!) they came to out house to save us treking, but I don't think it's something they do very often

we had orange juice and apple juice but no coffee (note to self, top up caffeine levels before going again!!)

Right, I'm coming to your booby groups, I've complained at mine before mentioning the lovely refreshments you get! We have only just started getting water but we get biscuits if I make Celia look cute at people!

The platter of fruit we had yesterday was amazing - strawberries, grapes, melon, mango, apple, kiwi and banana (bleurgh!). We also had ham sandwiches and philedelphia sandwiches on wholemeal ;)

So I guess you might get a better class of booby in bushbury but at my usual group I eat more fruit than I eat for the rest of the week :D

Edit: I am thinking of trying another one tomorrow - Benjamin and I might become Booby Club tarts ;o)

Edit again: I'm sure you get tons of biscuits then fritha.

Caz, what a bargain! I thought I did well getting 20% off Caitlyn's!

Mfd, I'm going to infiltrate your boobie groups... You're lucky to get a biscuit at my Monday group.. Although there's usually fruit and cake at the Tuesday one...

I have a really grumpy baby... She's spent most of today screaming, so much so that she sounded like she'd given herself a sore throat as we walked up the srairs to bed!
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

    Hi Weezl great stuff:D

It is specifically whether learning/developmental difficulties (dyslexia/dyspraxia) Could be linked to placental abruption....esp in a case where the baby wasn't delivered until 3 days after the initial bleed? Would there have been a lack of oxygen, nutrients etc going to baby within this time?

Good news about your dad scruffy:)

Caz - what a bargain, and I am pleased you seem to be working things through at home. You sound a lot more upbeat, fingers crossed for the job:D

Oh yeah, only ordered that highchair earlier today, got a phone message a little while ago saying it has been despatched and will be with us tomorrow...........................I LOVE KIDDICARE:D:D

Did I read somewhere that second babies don't engage until labour is pretty close (1st babies can engage weeks before)?
I know everyone has answered but hey ho...Edgar didn't engage until labour but Chris was engaged for weeks
but with the second everything is already so stretched and knackered that baby can pop in and out of engagement like a wag looking for the right footballer...
I sooo think there should be a CG's guide to parenting with your quality sayings like this one! :D:T

Are we gonna start a guide to bobbie groups now, we can rate them on quality and healthiness of snacks/beverages, class of mum's etc :rotfl:

Ours had a choice of 4 fresh juices (Chris decided he needed to taste all of them :p) strawberries and red n green grapes. The mum's tend to get lunch from the cafe while we're there too, no hot drinks allowed at mine - health n safety you see ;)

Well today I was very brave, I visited my Mum's school to show off Edgar and ended up feeding him in front of the headmaster, a random male supply teacher and a few of the female staff (they don't really count coz I class most of them as friends anyway) I gave myself a pat on the back :D
I am getting a bit fed up of hearing "oohh lok at his hair" though  yes I know he has a full head of hair, I sort of noticed that!!

HV came today, Edgar is now 8lb 9oz so has gained 5oz on his birth weight
but I realised I missed his hearing test yesterday :o I knew the app was on the 17th just didn't know yesterday was the 17th
