for names sami i think we're sticking with Jayden Zachary x
Still searching .....:)

I like that one SM I think Zachary sounds really classy (yes I know I'm a bit random
)
we had settled on Edgar Haydn but now oh has decided he's not sure and then FIL decided to say he thought Edgar James was nice (he would seeing as his brother and other son are both called James!)
I'm not a fan of the names James (I think knowing about 50 of them has put me off lol) and I think seeing as there's 2 already in the close family its a bit lazy.
I suggested the names that were on our original list for Christopher (which Haydn was on) and he said he doesn't like any of them
I really like Haydn and I'd only bump it for a nice English or Christian name but no luck convincing OH yet0 -
I've been reading back and just in case it wasn't said...
Krystal - I think silicone teats are fine to freeze as I have silicone ice cube trays and oven stuff so I reckon they should withstand the tempsIf you have the TT CTN bottles you can buy spare lids for them.
Medicine - am I the only one with a proper syringe for it? (I can't accept any kudos tho - it was given to me by a friend :P)
I know have a some of nurophen syringes (the ones that come with the bottle) and use them for medised & calpol
just don't try to micro sterilise them because they melt!!
Anyone know where is cheapest for angelcare nappy bin refills? I'm thinking tesco baby event but I'll need some before the next one comes around :undecided0 -
Thanks Sami, I ordered a set of 9 lids from the website yesterday, and already had 1 that came with the breast pump... I have 8oz of milk frozen in 2 bottles at the minute... I'm trying to express 4oz for freezing and at least another ounce to feed her with so she gets used to having the bottle... No real problems with it so far but we've only tried her twice... How many bottles should I have ready for when we go to top gear (If we go... Still undecided...) We'll be out about 12/13hours really, if we leave at 10am and filming finishes at 7pm we should be home sometime before 11... I really should do a route planner to see how long it will take... Anyway... Seeing as I've only ever breastfed on demand I have no idea how much milk a baby drinks...
Oh. and I have a drawer full of medicine syringes and the rubber stoppers for the tops of medicine bottles (Again, don't microwave sterilise them!) The antibacterial stuff Aimee sometimes gets for her water infection is administered by weight and at her weight she has 3mls per dose so can't have it off a spoon... So we get a new syringe every time...A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

Elle that is such good news, we all knew Rhys was a little fighter. Re the group thing Weezl spoke about I know El went along with other babies the same age even tho she was 3 weeks early, although I had to harp on at my HV to get invited to a group!!
Bruno he's a right wee dudes in his sunnies:cool:
Welcome connorsmummy
Welcome searching and congrats, he is soooo cute
Good for you on the feeding front Sami, I would express if you feel you need to I did just to relieve myself, I got so bad at one point I was feeding El in the car she had finished and had come off and the milk was still flowing it actually hit the dash board I had to grab a muslin and it was soaking by the time the flow had stopped, I really wish I'd found out if our hospital did a milk bank coz I was producing enough to feed the 5000!!
Krystal hope Aimee is feeling beter soonKrystaltips wrote: »Sometimes difficult in the middle of the night, even I'm guilty of gritting my teeth and letting her carry on just so I can get back to sleep quicker...astonsmummy wrote: »We havent

Searching I expressed and bottled fed to start with til I got my confidence up feeding in public once I had the hang of it there was no stopping me. I didn't do it full view but I couldn't have cared less who saw what i was doing!!
Oh and there is no such thing as a dumb question!!
I'm sure someone (krystal) will correct me but I think in the fridge you can treat it like fresh milk (max 8 days) and in the freezer 3 monthsEveryone is entitled to their opinionEllie 25/12/070 -
