And it seems one or two others saw that as their que to jump on the band wagon and take a pop at me and before you know it i'm getting it from all angles, being quoted out of context, being condemned for things i didn't say or do and to top it off, being called a trouble maker..

Seems a bit harsh based on my original post........
You've never been to discussion time have you? :D

Seriously, you think this place is bad... your keyboard would explode in there, and you'd probably fit right in

My point, in case you are wondering, is that this sort of thing happens on forums. I don't intent to be aggressive towards you, but you see it as that, respond in kind, and then it escalates.

Don't take it so personally. ;)
This is my opinion. There are many others like it but this is mine

To be honest Turkish i don't take much you say personally, i think we have disagreed once or twice before but that's perfectly normal and it's never escalated to anything that personal.

What annoys me most is when one or two other people see a minor disagreement and jump in to make something of it, especially the ones who have in the past shown a propensity to resort to abusive name calling, following me around the boards and bombarding my private messages....you know who you are.

Unfortunately these people see a minor disagreement and use it to join in and it quickly becomes a witch-hunt.

I'm not saying your responsible for these reprobates actions but unfortunately by quoting me out of context and sarcastically accusing me of something i had not done, you provided them with just the que they needed to jump in with their garbage. That's where i get annoyed
    .

I have no problem with debate but petty personal attacks are a totally seperate thing.

I'm sure if you are being "bombarded" with PM's you should report these to the abuse team. They'll be quick enough to take action on the perpertrator/s....

    Happy days, guys.

Let's concentrate on how much we love/hate eBay/PayPal and their evil/amazing business ethics. xx

The days of eBay are seriously over. Just rewind 5-years to remember all of the wonderful things that used to be on there. The stuff for sale now is just any old tat you could buy anywhere else, all made in China.

I just got a fee of £10 to sell a technology item for £100.

It used to cost about 50p to list things and that was it.

Am I doing something wrong or is this just the way it is these days on ebay?

They are making their fees favor high volume sellers. They don't want ordinary people on their site anymore, except to buy.

Hence free listing days for private sellers

    eBay are just greedy.
