OK Maz, I'm going to disagree with you. Sorry.:p
You just said you never thought you would ever get to within a few pounds of 12 stone. And you did, not only did you do it, you did it brilliantly. You have had good days and bad days, but more good than bad.
Why on earth do you think that you can't do better than that???

I might be wrong and I shouldn't try and second guess people, but I think if you actually liked your CDC and that you can't wait to stop going to see her you would feel much more positive about continuing on.

After how well you have done, what is 10.5 stone, another six weeks, two months???? Even with your holidays and taking a break then, (no-one should ever diet on their hols) it wouldn't take that much longer.

How far away is the next CDC, like I said they are allowed to sell you 4 weeks at a time, you can do your own WI at the gym.

Don't let her wind you up :j

i think part of me knows what you're saying is true Sue... but the other part of me thinks that i should be very happy with how far i have come and start to consider real life again and enjoy being this size... i know for some people it would still be too big, but honestly i feel as good as i ever have done.

That said - i still need some CD guidance in my life and i love the monthly support idea... plus if it's monthly it doesn't matter how far i travel really...!

I'm gonna phone up the head office woman i spoke to before and see if she can hook me up with another CDC who will let me buy some tetras each month, and give me a weigh in, plus i'd like to get my before picture from the CDC, and i know if i up sticks and finish with her then she'll withhold that, as she wouldn't let me have it when i wanted to see it before.... so if CD HQ person tells her to forward it to me then she would have to wouldn't she!?

You should be superly wonderfully happy with how well you have done Maz.
If you find another CDC, I'd just give yours her two weeks notice, you don't have to tell her anything, even if she starts moaning at you to do the maintenance you can just tell her you have had enough now. Or just lie and say you've a medical problem and your doc said to come off it straightaway. And can I have my pic now as I want to stick it to my fridge to remind me how well i've done!!

When you go to your new CDC, just tell her whats happened and I am sure she will be fine and even more desparate to prove she's (he's) nicer than the old one!!

but then why should i have to give her 2 weeks notice, she says it's a cambridge thing when i know it's not, then i'll have to buy 2 more weeks packs when i know i don't really need them at this time, money i could use for my weekend away in Leeds... nah, i'm gonna just stop with her, and start with someone else. Explain the isssues i've had to my new CDC, the excess packs i have to use up, offer to pay for a weigh in if she likes and start afresh, with none of this negativity...

i'll let CDHQ tell my CDC i'm done, and request my pic...

All sounds very final but i honestly am scunnered with her whole attitude....

Do you know she actually said, Well "we don't do free weigh in's you know, you have to buy packs each week to cover our costs. It's a CD rule, for insurance purposes." What a load of b*llox!

I'm sorry forgot to mention that earlier...

    Bo!llocks!!

My CDC does free wi for her maintainers every Saturday morning, they only ever buy anything if they go over their agreed "limit".

She's on holiday at the moment and has arranged for someone to be there on a Saturday morning for the drop in session so no-one has to go too long without wi or having to buy loads of packs in advance.

For insurance purposes, Sh1te! I can see that they have to see you regularly to make sure that 1 you arn't anorexic or something, and 2 to make sure you are actually doing the diet and not selling the product on. That sort of thing, but there is no subscription, no contracts, you have to sign a medical form to say that they recommend a doctor but that answer is Sh!te!

it's getting hard to tell one end of her bull from the other now, and it's making me less focused... time for a rethink!

Long phone call to CDHQ person i spoke to before, kept her name and direct line, and get myself onto another CDC asap...

feeling a bit more focused and like going forward! thanks sue...

why should i settle for 12stone really when i know 10stone something is possible... ??

You go for it Maz, don't forget you are worth it;)
You are doing it for you, and just because you've never been there before dosent mean you can't now.

If you feel this good now, just think how much better you will feel!!!

And just think of the effects on your running,

Get rid of her, you've got all of us routing for you:T
