Maz, you r CDC sounds as supportive as mine was hun. How dare she say 'at that size'

I'm still being good btw. Will be super good this week, as DH is back at work

Going to split the day between working out and sitting in the sun. DH bought us Wii Active yesterday, and it's FAB. Going to do some tradie too, even though the hip's still not right :D

Well, I too blew it, lasted until 6.00pm last night and had to go for an Indian, I might have got away with just a salmon tikka, but he always gives me a lager or two while I'm waiting and when he put it in front of me I just couldn't not drink it.:o
Strangely enough after my craving the day before it just didn't hit the spot.
Even so, I drank it, and most of the second one, had my Salmon Tikka, pinched some of hubbies rice and korma sauce, opened another lager, but actually only drank half of it. But did have a couple of millies cookies and a snickers bar and a bag of salt and vinegar.

Fortunately I fell asleep on the couch at 9.15, and didin't wake up until 1.45am, so couldn't sabotage myself anymore!!

Think I overdid it a bit on Saturday and was exhausted, was out all day at a swimming gala with Mike and just didn't have the energy to keep on top of anything. Tiredness is definitely one of my triggers.

6 hours away from completing the challenge - I don't know, someone slap my a*?e!

I know spud - i mean, she is no slim chicken herself, she's easily a 16-18, so how dare she "at that size" me in my size 14's! biatch!!

Well duncs....... 4 outta 5 days is not bad y'know! that's an 80% success rate which compared to your previous 50% success rate overall is good! if 5 days was a test, 80% is still a pass!!

so move on and we're in a new week, new focus and renewed enthusiasm!

Let's nail this CD to the floor this week girls!!!!

Alf - thinking about you babes, hope you're alright, you've been down in the dumps lately and i hate to see you like this........
I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....

Alf, TOTM, Strangely enough, I have been bleeding for 16 days none stop now and its getting heavier.
Since having the implant my TOTM has been extremely light, a lot of the time don't even need to use pads as it tends to just be spotting. But this is getting a little worrying. It may just be because the implant needs changing.

It's nowhere near your 3 months though.
I've just had a quick look and diruptions to your cycle are mentioned as a side effect in one report but it dosent go into much detail. I'll have another look later when I have a bit of time.

The problem with the doctors is they are often looking for a quick fix, which usually means throwing drugs at you.
I have had gyny problems now since my 20's and resisted a lot of the drugs and quick fixes, I gave up and got the implant 3 years ago, when my TOTM was making me extremely ill.

Have you ever looked into Homeopathy, or herbal remedies. There is a large school of thought that much of this is down to a placebo effect. But if it works what the hell!! I know a few people that swear by it, unfortunately it costs though. I did ring around a few, but they wanted about £50, it might be worth trying in your area though.

Will post if I find out any more about VLCD's and TOTM.

    Hi everyone,

So nice to hear everyone's stories and how everyone is getting on.....

I'm firmly back on track after my post weigh in meal l ast night..

had a long talk with my CDC, explained to her some of my issues with her way of working. Kinda made it that my issues were with the rules rather than her, but still couldn't get her to be more flexible.

she said it was entirely up to me and if i was happy "at this size" then maybe it was time to start working up the plans now. Yes, she did say, "at this size", and i was kinda shocked TBH... i said to her, if i'd thought when i started in January i was going to get to within a few lbs of 12stone and a size 14 off the peg in any shop, i would have been ecstatic.... so it's kinda made me realise that i might actually be nearer the end of the journey than i realised.......

I'm going to carry on 100% until i get below 12stone then i'm gonna be beginning maintainence, so hopefully next weekend? who knows?!

There will be no more "doing a maz" and eating something delish after weigh in, as there is no need when on a foodie plan...

no more unattainable 10.5stone aims for me, i think it was just getting me down! i mean i've never been slim, and i can see why someone who was slim before in their adult life wants to get back into their size 10's and 10stone, but i never was, never have been and doubt i ever will!

So please girls! help me stay focused and get below 12 stone and onto the maintainence plan.... and i should be finished with the CDC by end of this month! yay!

OK Maz, I'm going to disagree with you. Sorry.:p
You just said you never thought you would ever get to within a few pounds of 12 stone. And you did, not only did you do it, you did it brilliantly. You have had good days and bad days, but more good than bad.
Why on earth do you think that you can't do better than that???

I might be wrong and I shouldn't try and second guess people, but I think if you actually liked your CDC and that you can't wait to stop going to see her you would feel much more positive about continuing on.

After how well you have done, what is 10.5 stone, another six weeks, two months???? Even with your holidays and taking a break then, (no-one should ever diet on their hols) it wouldn't take that much longer.

How far away is the next CDC, like I said they are allowed to sell you 4 weeks at a time, you can do your own WI at the gym.

Don't let her wind you up :j
