    Hey!
Not to bad considering i dont have much to lose. 5lb.

Have had to eat some protein though, because of the heat.

Think ive done good, will know officially in the morning. I feel different doing cd this time, the fam has been eating in front of me ( i still cook for them every day) and I have not been craving anything or slipped up. I have managed my water easily this time too managing about 3 litres plus extra in shakes/soups.

I really think those photos shocked me into sense last week. I do have a party to go to saturday coming but aim to eat light sticking to salad and chicken and loads of water.

  • Hi all
I'm on week 5 of Cambridge Sole Source and have lost 24lbs so far. Only another 50 odd to go!
No problem with the plan at all. Not hungry, not tempted in any way to cheat, but absolutely exhausted. Anyone else feel pooped?
The plan is to lose as much weight as is possible for my holiday at the end of September, and to remain at an ideal weight for the rest of my life. Was always starving on Whale Watchers! Has anyone else reached their maintenance phase and gone the Atkins route after Cambridge?
Am a teensy bit scared about going back to food to be honest!

Well done for getting to week five! :)

As regards tiredness are you doing 'add a meal' this week? If not I'd suggest you should even if you just eat some plain chicken everyday as well as your packs. It won't knock you out of ketosis. I'd also suggest going for a walk everyday too. Have you talked to your consultant about it yet? They may have some suggestions too.

  • I did speak to my CDC about the lethargy and she did say that I could do SS+ if I wanted to, but I chose to carry on with SS until I'm on my knees! I have so much weight to lose that I want to stick with it for as long as is humanly possible. I use the wii fit every day even if it's for only 30 mins, and the nature of my job means that some days I can walk 5 miles just around my salon! I think that because work is so busy at the moment it's a combination of that plus SS that's taking its toll on me. Thank you so much for your advice though, it's much appreciated!

    Hi everyone,
Just wanted to say that i am starting CD on Monday and would like some advice on what the weekly cost is approx, hoping to be on the 3 packs a day? tia
  • It works out at about £40 a week, which is a bargain when compared to how much I used to spend on food, coffees, booze and eating out!
