    Hi everyone

I'm new here. Have just made an appt to go and see a CD consultant next Wednesday evening *gulp*. First steps and all that.

I have about 3 stone to lose (possibly a bit more). Am scared but think this is the way forward. Have spent the morning (discreetly as at work lol) reading through posts on here.

My main worry is not the feeling hungry in the beginning but the fact your breath smells, is it really bad?

    Thank you!

I was about to post exactly the same thing, except I start tomorrow.

I've bought some bottles of water and put some ice into the freezer, I've eaten all the naughty things and unless I get a craving for potatoes then I won't have a problem! I've also just sorted out our spare change so there's no 'kitty for the shop'. Anything else anyone can think I should do?

I'm excited to get going as I want my lovely summer stuff to fit!

how's everyone going? I'm hoping to join in (or reinvigorate) the chatter around CD on the board :)

    Hi,

As long as you go into it with the right frame of mind you will be fine. I'm amazed at how I have got on. I've taken my DD to McDonalds and my OH has had all sorts of things and I just haven't been bothered by it.

The only thing I have eaten since wednesday is a bit of chocolate cake but it was my Dads birthday!

    How are you getting on?

Hey!! I'm hating it... The shakes (capucinno and chocolate) are horrid and the soup (chicken and mushroom) was so bad I couldn't finish it!

Did you find it this hard? I'm also starving and feeling sick and feint- not a good start- even though I thought my head was in the right place:(

    Hey

I didn't like the soups either. I tried mixing them with a fork and blender but neither helped.

I'm having vanilla and butterscotch shakes cold but having chocolate and mint chocolate hot and thats really nice.

When I had my CDC she said I can have a palm size portion of chicken or turkey to help if I needed it.

The important thing I have found is the water. How much are you drinking?

I'm seeing my CDC tomorrow for my first weigh in. I will post how much I've lost and hopefully it will spur you on.

The first 3 days are really hard but once you get through it you will feel fine. I forgot to take a shake to work today but didn't feel hungry and only had my shake 30mins ago.

Keep your chin up. You can do it!

Oh yes please inspire me:) I'm finding it sooooo hard, I want everything I can't have. So I'm putting together photos of stuff I want! Which I can't have until I lose weight:)

I will do one week as a mini target... Does that sound like a plan?
