  • Pap - SS+ meal every week after weigh in was all that got me thru my time on CD, and never knocked me out of ketosis.....

    Thanks Maz, its the way to go then. it used to be the bars, but they knocked me out each week :mad: So I need to knock that on its head as every week I was trying to get back into it. The only thing I am finding is I am going off meat :o So I will try tofu in a few weeks :D

    Kitti, :rotfl: What we try to do to reason with ourselves eh. Stupid really!

    I am still going, I did however want to buy a cream cake today. I wanted to get Mum one but I knew if I did I would want to buy one for myself. So I didn't get any :T I shall get Mum one another day...

    Keep on slurping the water everyone. Every day is 1 or 2lbs of fat gone! Forever!

    Well Its great to heare everyone is back on track again! Well Done!

    My new reebok easytone trainers arrived today so I've been feeling very virtuous (I really do need to increase my exercise routine). Anyway, I hope they work. I'm not sure that the scales have moved since sunday night, but the very fact that i haven't succumbed to carbs is a bigger motivation for me :):)

  • Good luck with your fitness stuff ethansmum. Just be prepared for the scales to stall/change for a couple of weeks until you get into a routine. Mine still arn't right from the running so please don't get disheartened. They will come right soon enough :j

    Hello old friends........can I come back to play!!! I have just read many, many pages of posts and Pap and L.o Maz have summed it all up - in a nutshell its ****** hard, theres no getting away from it, but having come this far why let the 'fat' win.

    I am struggling big style at the moment, I'm up and down like the proverbial you know whats. The thing that really gets me is when I lose control, at the end of the day, I feel that is where the problem lies, certainly with me. If I am in control I feel calmer and therefore less likely to go potty. It definately is a case of vicious circle.

    So, here I am, .... keep going everyone, think we're all going to have to support each other again:).

    Hey every one,

    Well where can I start? I have not been doing too well this week! was sposed to weigh in today but thought what was the point! I cheated all week and am afraid of the scales. So I made my excuses to the CDC and delayed till monday. She called me tonight to motivate me and make sure Im back on track, so need to get some results before monday when I go and see her. I really need some help and remotivating, Originaly when I started I remined 100% for the first 4 weeks and then when I became ill it just was so hard to get back on SS 100%. There hasn't been a week I havn't cheated somehow, even a little. Although I have had some pretty good results some weeks still I think it has just reinforced in my head that I can cheat and get away with it as I still seem to loose 5lb a time. That has led to easting almost every night when I get in from work!

    I have vouched to myself not to do it again and get back into Ketosis, I am hoping that once back on ss fully for a while I will get back to my 100% days.

    I am hoping to still get another 4lb loss in before the end of the month to reach this months target and hoping we can all set more targets for ech other next month!

    I am glad you spoke up about the quietness of the room PAP, I know I shy away from posting when I am being naughty and with little posts there was nothing to get us all bck on track!

    Well I hope everyone is doing well and I will post every day so that I can reinforce in my head that I can do this properly. I just hope tomorro I m still feeling this strong!

  • br33ni, Oh I know the feeling, I too worked out how to cheat before my break. Lets just say it does no good. Please try and curb that as it doesn't sort out your issues with food :o I think veryone stops posting when they are 'cheating' its not good. If anything when you head to that spiral edge you should all post here, or read here... Its hard though.

    Another day down for me, I did have a wobble and ate a few sample crisps in work :wall: I still haven't check my ketosis lvls so won't do that now until Monday now! I have also recieved a new ex dvd so will start that tomorrow.

    Hi guys

    we're all sort of struggling aren't we at the moment? Pap's right y'know, when we are finding it tough we don't post and when the goings good we are on here all the time! I am battling - winning sometimes but always struggling. I keep trying to remember how I felt - not how I looked - but emotionally how flat and low self esteemed I was when I was a lot heavier, and at the moment it is that thought process that is keeping me on track 'ish.

    I am not in ketosis, i am doing the 1250 thing (well, of a fashion!), so my weight loss is up and down, but I am still doing to my CDC and she is fantastic.

    Keep up the good work folks. We musn't lose sight of the fact that a step in the right direction is better than a step the opposite way - and as has been said earlier, baby steps are good:T

    Hi everyone!!!

    It must be catching... I did awfully last week too, it started off with a grilled chicken kebab as a treat after WI and escalated to 2 bigs of crisps, pasta and chocolate buttons over the weekend. I weighed myself on the Sunday and saw that I had put on 2lb since WI and REFUSED to let my CDC mark a gain down on my record card. So I went to aqua aerobics on Monday, normal aerobics on Tuesday and on a power plate thing on Wednesday... the result was I lost the 2lb I had gained with another 2lb so my loss for the week is 2lb :j

    It has definately made me turn a corner - I go on holiday in 4 weeks today so have 4 more WI's in which to lose 1 stone 3lbs to bring my total loss to 4 stone!! So I'll be 100%ing from now till then, hope everyone else is feeling better.

  • Well I've been rubbish as well so was feeling too guilty to post. In the first week of the challenge I lost 3lb, second week I didn't get weighed as I was off work. Third week I lost 1lb, didn't go last week as I was away in Cardiff at the X-Factor tour (which was fab btw) and had all manner of things - sweets, a giant hot dog, booze, a maccyDs, cereal & toast, chicken casserole (when I got back) hot cross buns (argghhh!). I'm back on it now but doubt I'll manage to lose anything much by next Weds (not the 10lbs needed to meet my target anyway). Big March challenge fail for me!! Come on guys, lets make April a good one, I keep kicking myself cos I've got loads of nice clothes just sitting there that I can't get into still, then go and slip up!!

  • :o Opps forgot to post yesterday, but I can say it was 100% :j Started back on my green tea which is curving my cravings again. Luckly I am stocked up on those so have plenty for the next 3 months :rotfl:

    Hunbun, I know its a bit obvious but even though mentioning food on here is hard I would rather someone post and say ~ I am having a tough day, I want chocolate etc. Than them eat it, not post and then don't want to return. At least there maybe someone here who can change your train of thought and maybe keep you on track Shrug_by_melonhead_emotion.gif

    You are doing really well 1250 is a had plan to follow as you are out of ketosis and unless you are strict its easy to go over cal. I wish you all the best, you will see your weight stabalise over the coming weeks and then you are well into maintance :T

    Stokegal, :rotfl: at cheating with the excercise. I ahve done that once before too. However just think how much you could have lost if you were 100% and exercising. There is a limit though and sometimes you can't do as much ssing but I found exercising while on CD now a god send. My weightloss has slowed down as a result but I know I can keep these things up once at maintance. Also it gets me out of the house :T Think about it but take it easy :D

    Rosie, glad you had a good time but sorry about the food :( As you say lets move on and make April a fab month. Its nice to have these days off but you ned to get straight back into it :T You will get into those clothes, we know you can... Keep on going :beer:


    So its April on Thursday, where has the year gone? Shrug_by_melonhead_emotion.gif Anywyas who is up for a monthly chalenge... this one we will ALL complete :rotfl:
