:j Glad to see everyone is back, ish...
ethansmum ~ baby steps are great, they are what's needed on this diet. every hour/minute is an achivement to some so you are doing very well. Up to now its 39 hours for me :rotfl: we shall get there!
piratess ~ You arnt rubbish, you are dealing with the fat and you haven't failed, you just slipped off the wagon. You will beat this piratess, you can do this and I shall make sure you do :rotfl: If you don;t want to weigh-in don't. Just start afresh now and then next weigh-in will be your restart weight. If you are good you may even have sts or lost since your last recorded weight. Keep going....
beanie ~ :A
hamish222 ~ Good luck with your op. I always found 1000 a strugle and never lost weight on it. However I hope you do. Are you going back to SS once you have had your op?
Well another day done for me. It was hard at about 6pm but I got through it. Now I am onto my full day two. I shall test for ketosis on Thursday and hope I am back into it. Otherwise its plodding onKeep going all...

Some of you might know me, i was a regular poster on this thread for most of last year... having gone from almost 17stone in Jan 2009 down to 11.5stone by June 2009... i am absolutely a firm believer in the diet and agree that it is mostly the mental battle that is the hardest. That's what makes it so important to keep checking into this thread and value the friendships/support you get on here....
Pap - you are an absolute superstar... you have changed in so many ways since i first met you, and you were already well on your journey by then... you've come so far, never forget that hun... Have you posted your before and after pics up here lately? Maybe you should to give people some motivation....
Anyway, the reason i lurked today was cause i set myself a barrier that when i got to my 11.5 stone, i would self regulate if my weight went above 12 stone as i dont want it to creep back up again. so currently am at 12 st 4 and am doing a week of 100% soul source to get myself back below the 12 stone marker....
Pap - i havent shouted it from the rooftops in the daily chat, but i dont mind sharing with you guys....
C'mon everybody! you can so easily do this, just take control and move forward... the past is past and nothing we can do about it, right here, right now is the only thing we can fully control.... the future, well we'll deal with it when we get there! lol!I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....(it's part of my charm!)0 -
Hello everyone, I'm waddling my way back in......and am back on the LL packs today. I have absolutely no self-control, it's worrying how much weight I can put back on in such a short space of time, and how I have a real don't give a hoot attitude!
Well done PAP on rounding us back up
Welcome back Maz, well done on having the self-awareness and control to sort out the pesky 4lb situation, you'll do it in no time!
I daren't post how much weight I've put back on but will start my (hopefully) daily woo hoo I've lost Xlb posts from tomorrow! I am a bit concerned that my head isn't totally back in the zone and know that I have a few girlies wanting to go for drinks over Easter when DD is away for 2 weeks, but I'll either s*d it and have a hangover the next day or will find a spurious reason to postpone......it's tough being a single parent and never going out, I find that when I have the opportunity to go out without having to stump up for a babysitter, that I tend to "treat" myself rather too well, lol.
Maybe we can have an April weight loss challenge once the March one endsI'll sign up again for that!

hello its me signing in for today I failed yesterday! .. I sneakily weighed yesterday and i have gained 2lbs since i started eating, and yesterday i was good all day UNTIL my eldest started making a cornbeef sarnie when she came home! ...
So i had a corned beef sarnie and a bag of crisps and then i had some pastry pizza type thing! OH and then!!!!!!!!!! i had 2 slices of toast for supper! ,..
What the hell is wrong with me ! ....
Today has started ok, ive just had to tell myself not to make some toast with the bread that is staring at me every time i go into the kitchen! ...
My CDC has said if im still strugglin come weds that she would come back out and we could discuss maybe eating a meal ... but im scared that will just open the flood gates! ??
any thoughts ?? .......
Im hoping today will be 100% i am aiming for it to be 100% ..........
Hows the day going for everyone else ??Hoping to be a thinner me in 2010!0 -
Hi piratess, is that all you ate? You amateur, lol
Seriously hon, don't beat yourself up about it too much. Personally, depending on how much weight you have to lose, I'd try and avoid having a meal, as that seems to be my downfall. If I plan to have a meal, then I start thinking / obsessing about food and then would eat as what the heck, i'm having a meal anyway.......or maybe i am just a fruit loop!
So far I've been 100%I've had 2l water, a stint in the sauna and feel great. Here's hoping that feeling lasts and I stay on track and get rid of the weight I've put back on again - and the rest that I need to lose!

kittikins .. well done for being 100%
great stuff!
Im the same! i start obsessing about food, and thats what scares me! .... so i want to try and hold off, Ive got 2 more stone to go before i start introducing food again! lolHoping to be a thinner me in 2010!0 -
Maz ~ Welcome back :j I think you have hit the nail on the head with reagrds to mental state. Any diet or change in food you need to be prepared for however CD takes it that little bit further. Its as if you need to have a better mental state when attempting this than with a calorie controlled diet. And yes this si a fab resourse.
Thanks, I am doing as well as I can. time to get the last few stone off now. Back to motivated PapGood luck with your new week to get back into your goal area. How are you doing with the running now?
Kitti ~ Glad to be of help. I hope your next stage of LL goes well. I wish I could weigh-in everyday like you though. Sadly my weight fluctuates so much it would kill me to do that :rotfl: Sounds like you have a good amount of stuff to look forward to in the next few months. I am up for an April challenge :T This time we will ALL make it
piratess ~Opps, put it behind you and don't dwell on it. With reagrds to the SS+ meal it works in two ways... You can either see it as the open to a spiral or you can see it as something positive. So for instance you can think, ok I can have my three cambridge meals and I can also have a salad. That means every night I can a pre portioned meal and enjoy time with my family. Its only when you alow it to become a catalyst that it does. Take away that mentallity and you will be fine. You may even do much better on SS+/810 than SS.
However if you are determind to keep to SS you just meed that 'spark' back. We all have it we just need to fnd it again
So I ahve had weigh-in this week and I sts. considering I was binging and eating over 1000cal a day I think that was good going. So for my weigh-in treat I had a SS+ meal this evening. Back onto SS from tomorrow now. I know you arn't supposed to jump from plan to plan but it's now something I will plan after each weigh-in and a SS+ meal is better than a carb loaded meal.
Have a great evening all :T0 -
Pap - SS+ meal every week after weigh in was all that got me thru my time on CD, and never knocked me out of ketosis.....I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....(it's part of my charm!)0

Morning all, 5lb off already!
I nearly cracked last night and kidded myself that I could do packs during the day and binge at night and it would be okay....I'm so rubbish, lol!!
