  • Hello all,

well, am on day 4 of 810 and weighed myself this morning and have lost 7lbs!!! I have been running to the loo every few minutes - is this normal? I was expecting to be blocked up, not the other way round... (sorry for gross toilet content!) Still, its inspiring me to keep going - I can't remember the last time I got on the scales and they showed a loss!

I am finding it hard being at home with nothing to do - I seem to be hungrier...or at least think I am. Have resolved this by making up a big bowl of tom yum broth with a little tofu and veg from my allowance and having that whenever I need to feel like I'm eating 'real' food.

First weigh in on Wednesday - eek!!!
  • Flippin' heck! ... there are gezzillions of posts on here now!!! Its FAB:j

Well, went away on fell off the wagon HUGE style. I feel like death warmed up now. Have gained 5 pounds over the weekend . Nobody else to blame, just got to get back on again:o:o:o, so, sigh.........

I am so proud of my cd family/friends. Well done guys, keep up the good work. Summer is just around the corner.......

    Luv xxxxxxxx

Hi Poggy how have you been- we are in the same boat, restarting together. Why do we do it to ourselves.

Hunbun, yes you need to get back on the wagon, and get back on quick or you will end up like me and having to start all over again.
Its very tempting to think "oh I will just have a few days off and start again

    Don't do it!!!

Well done sexy, I don't tend to find toilet problems but I know lots of people do. If you keep up your water intake then you should be fine - it keeps everything flushing through. Boredom and tiredness are my biggest challenges. Last year on the diet I cleared out my garden and hacked away years of overgrown shrubs and trees, anything you like doing or fancy trying, one of the girls I work with has taken up knitting. Keeps your hands busy too.

Well done to everyone who has been good :Akeep up the good work.
And well done all you losers. It feels so wonderful when you start losing.

Day 1 for me, I've had a banana tetra, 2 black coffees and a pint of water. Water is a hard one for me so must try hard to keep it up.

If anyone is interested. I have a chart that Maz sent me, its an excel spreadsheet and you use it to record you losses, it shows you when you hit milestones in your BMI and percentage body weight lost.
I actually enter target losses in and it helps me to see how long I have got to meet milestones (If I am a good girl of course!_

If anyone wants it pm your email address and I will send it over.

    Happy CDing All:j

Hoping to be a thinner me in 2010!
  • Good Luck on the WI Piratess and let us know how you get on.
It keeps you going when you here how well everyone is doing!!!
Cheese on Toast is one of my downfalls - Fav snack.

I have just cleared out all my info on the chart and saved it separately so its all ready to go!
  • Hi De Hi Cambridgers ;)

How you all getting on....I have to say am struggling a little bit, not with wanting to eat,but the length i'm going to be on Cambridge :o I'm trying to take it day by day or stone by stone :rotfl: but i've 5 1/2 stone to go....one positive was that it was 16 1/2 stone to go, but 1 st 2lb down and gone already :T Guess as fast as the weight loss is, want to get back to 'normal' healthy eating.... just one of those Monday day blues

Talking of cravings, i've been having loads and loads....but am sticking with it, haven't got anything planned until March that I 'need' to have a planned meal for !

Enough of rambling, back to focusing on lasting through day 16 :p
  • Piratess - Have sent the chart - have fun with it.

HWGA, Its definitely one to take day by day. Mini targets are really important to keep me going.

I am going to London for the 6 Nations Rugby on the 27th Feb, so that is my mini target.

Target loss for me is 4 to 5 stone, . Worry a bit about ageing too much if I lose too much, thats the biggest advantage of being larger, chubby face pushes out all the wrinkles!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

On the chart 3lb a week will take me 18 weeks. (that includes booster loss for first week) After all the years of "topping up" 18 weeks isn't too long really. Although I know that there will be some occasions where I will "have" to eat.

    Hey HWGA ...
Oooo dont say your worried about the length of time! .. ive got 5 stone to lose also! ..... im kinda telling myself i can see the light at the end of the tunnel! haha
Im just waiting for the CDC to arrive with my next weeks supplies! ... Tetras for me tomorow yummy cant wait .. and a weeks worth of choc shakes! haha im so boring but at least i like them lol ....

I was going to try bars but thought better of it ... maybe ill try them next week ..
Im really hoping i get a good loss this week ... i wanna hit my first stone as soon as possible :) not impatient or anything atall lol ....

I forgot i needed to ask for opinions .... We are off to cornwall on the 28th to see my parents and on a saturday it is the law that everyone goes into town for breakfast ..I think i will be fine all other days with not eating, Im kind of pondering whether i should eat on the saturday morning or not ??? ... if so what is it better to eat? all the normal cooked breakfast items will be available? Or should i really just try to not eat anything atall ????

Any hints tips advice would be fab thanks xxxx
Hoping to be a thinner me in 2010!
  • Hi Piratess, Did you ever try Atkins?
The Atkins plan is a very low carb plan so items allowed would be less likely to take you out of Ketosis.
If you are going to eat.......
Eggs should be OK, Bacon, mushroom, tomato I suppose. Avoid sausages, they are usually bulked up with a filler like rusk, which isnt low carb.
And def no toast, croissants, jam, or fruit juice:eek:

I am not a big fan of the bars, but other people like them, I used to cut mine into little pieces to make them go further. But I only got them a few times and still have a couple left.
