Hi all. I've decided to bite the bullet and restart after a disasterous weight gain. Saw CDC today and told her not to tell me how much I weigh...really don't want to know! Anyway, got my supplies and tomorrow is D day. In a weird way looking forward to it;)

Morning everyone
Another 2lb off yesterday, that's 10lb in 3 days now, woo hoo!!! I feel physically better already for losing a bit of weight. Going to a healthy living event on Sunday, so will hopefully pick up some useful tips for when I get to my target, and won't be tempted to sample some of the vegan/raw food goodies!

im really pleased but will as usual wait until my weigh in on monday for an official number haha ...
Not much planned this weekend altho am working tonight caring overnight, so will take a tetra! my last one !!!! .... After lunch my OHs cousin is coming over with their new puppy a labradoodle called Jelly .. so that will be fun! .. our 2yr old lad loveeee other dogs so it will be a manic hour lol .. lots of photos ! ...

OH and I went to the cinema last night and resisted the popcorn, sweets and fizzy drinks but... OH then had a chicken kebab on the way home...
I had a piece of his chicken, some lettuce and a tiny bit of pitta bread with 1 chip...
In all honest I have no guilt for it - I didn't gorge myself and go mad and binge on entire kebab myself and in the greater scheme of things it's made me realise I can just have 1 and stop. TBH I feel more guilty about admitting it on here to you because everyone else is doing fab.
So I checked if I was still in ketosis last night before I went to bed and it was still pink then again this morning - pink again. Will it show up later or have I just been very lucky for it to not knock me out?

aww please dont feel bad for telling us about it on here! ... were all in it together! and we aint perfect angels! ive eaten and got told off for it by CDC .. so i know what your saying lol .
Not sure about the pink ... if you checked this morning and your still pink i think you should be save! .. i mean youve been asleep all night so surely it would have all been digested etc by now ??? Somone in the know will be able to tell you more im sure haha ....

Well, its my 2nd day on the CD. I started with the 810 - I knew I'd never make it on SS/SS+. My CDC wasn't as helpful as some of yours seem to be - she hasn't offered to call and check on me...should she have?
Sometimes they call day 3 or 4.I'm on 3 CD a day, 1 being the bars - is this ok? I've got 3 st to lose...all I can think about is food, especially meat! I went to bed last nite at 9pm just so I wouldn't torment myself any longer.
Bars are usually introduced on week 3 to be sure that people are fully in ketosis first. On 810 this is less of a concern. Strictly speaking it should have still been day 15 onwards.
The hunger will die down once ketosis clicks in. Day 3 can feel very long, but hang in there. Soon be feeling goodAlso, is it ok to make up a chinese style soup (water based) using some of my veg allowance before having the meal? There isn't much in the soup so I figure it doesnt add to the calories and it helps fill me up...am I just undoing all my hard work and sacrifice???
It depends what else you might be putting in the soup. If it's just items on the plan, then yes, that's fineI really hope I can stick with this...

well I shall be rejoining you guys on the 29th. I always find the 2st 2 days the worst then im much happier. Ive got 3 stone to loose again after I gained it again due to illness
Ive got the go ahead from my GP so a big hello and 2nd tile lucky for meMad Mum to 3 wonderful children, 2 foster kittens and 2 big fat cats that never made it to a new home!

Yuk, feel really sick today as I'm back on my strong painkillers that I should be eating real food with. My back is horribly painful and I think I'm going to have to eat something as the shake AND bar I had for breakfast don't seem to have been enough

Hey guys, well weigh in number 2 on Saturday and lost another 5lb
16lb in two weeks !!:T Extremely chuffed....only approximately another 70lb to go:o am trying to take it day by day but its b1oody hard !
KITTIKINS i can completley sympathise, i've done exactly the same thing, I got 'stuck' Friday night and my parents had to come and save me as I couldn't get up out of bed :rotfl: have been staying there ever since and have been on very strong painkillers, can't remember what they are called so I know how you feel ! i had additional packs yesteday (5 instead of 3) because otherwise i knew i was going to eat food....if you do need to eat with them then I would advise you to, but go for some chicken or cottage cheese to get you through ! Good luck !
