dont beat yourself up for not being 100% .. we have all been there! Im the weakest willed person i know! ~~ consider yourself kicked up the aris~~ .. Have you written a list of reasons why down? ..
Is there anything you can do to keep your mind from food? pain nails, read etc .. somthing to keep your hands busy! .. this is mind hunger ya know! ... give it a good talking to and grab a glass of the good stuff.. You know where we all are hun! ... xx

I know on the excersize front they say not to do to much at the start because you are on such low cals! .. so dont over do it hun....
As for the ketosis thingy I REALLY hope i hit it soon.. not sure how much longer i can cope with this heady thing! .. i actually feel a little sick to! .. but my mouth feels CACK!Hoping to be a thinner me in 2010!0 -
:pHello fellow cambridgers.... day 4 in my camp....am seriously struggling....really bad !! Its snowing soooo much (even though i'm at work :-( ) and for some reason it makes me want to eat, think its cos it feels all Christmasy lol !!! Onwards and upwards....am determined to try my bestest to get through the day :rolleyes:
As for the strange dreams - i can definately relate !! When i did LL before, i always used to wake up in the morning and had 'dream cheated'.... wasn't until i woke up completely i realised it had all been a dream...thankfully
Am determined to try my very hardest to get until March 8th when its my birthday...am hoping to have lost around 2 1/2 stone by then...fingers crossedwill be half way then, so may 'treat' myself to add a meal that day..... roll on day 5.... roll on weigh in Saturday !!

Sorry to hear your not feeling motivated Hunbun... One of the motivational tools that I use at work is to focus on small stepped targets write them down and stick them up somewhere prominent and you get a "check" once you've passed each one.
My goals are
To pass the first week - my reward will be to go to the Boots Sale next Wednesday if I complete it and I'll buy myself some nice bubbly bath (OH paying so it will be nice and expensive)
It's OH and DS birthday on the 26th Jan (yep both on the same day - expensive!!) and I want to have lost a stone by then
etc etc
I've just read on another forum that one person said that if you stick to it by the time that it is warm we'll all be in our new bodies... that sounds really good and gave me a surge of motivation0 -

Piratess, you are so heading for ketosis. Tomorrow evening you must be in itThis will be the best part of the diet. How are you doing with your water now? Are you getting the reccomended 2.5 litres? Have you jumped on your scales yet :shhh:
hunbun, I agree with piratess, please dont beat yourself up. This diet will only work if you want it to work. If you feel you need to eat and you dont want to do the diet dont feel too bad about it. You will get there. Could you not do what stokegal does and treat yourself... SO 4 days @ 100% a treat, a week @ 100% another treat, 2 weeks etc etcIt doesnt have to be expensive, an hour extra in bed, a new dvd?
stokegal, Well done on being determinded this time. You wil so finish your journey. I love the fact you are having little 'treats' I do that... Although I have a bigger treat every 30lbs I lose. Anything that wil keep you going will helpAs for the dreams I got them too, I still have them sometimes. Its just part and parcel of the whole losing weight mental thing. Dont worry about it though as long as you arnt cheating in real life

I am fine, just keep on going. I am off out for the day tomorrow and around coffee shops so that will be temptation :rolleyes: i will be fine though... 8months and no blips just 'scheduale divations' later I am sure I can do one day

Its tough today the kids are home, little man (4) is eating all the time and ive just found a marsbar! .......... its head hunger though so im trying to talk myself out of it!Hoping to be a thinner me in 2010!0 -
Piratess - your birthday is the week before mine and my goal is 4 stone by then too.. I go on holiday in 15 weeks though - All Inclusive in Egypt - I've already catered for me putting on half a stone that week so you'll manage it no problem
Herewegoagain - I've taken down all the Christmas decorations down so I dont fee christmassy and I'm watching Thomas Cook tv to get in the holiday mood - I always feel motivated to lose weight then
PAP - I'm sure that you'll be fine tomorrow - 8 months is very impressive and I personally hate those coffee shops not just because I dont like coffee but they're so expensive - how about you take the money that it would cost for one of those coffees and go any buy a new nail polish or eye shadow... I have an empty box waiting to be filled with CD reward treats and even after I've used them - the empty bottles will be a great visual aid to show how much I've achieved
I'm struggling with water - I hate it and having spoken to many different people they all have different opinons about it - some say you can add no suger squash, some say they have diet coke and I've read about some powder which you can have but it may take you out of ketosis.. I'm confused0 -

I will be fine, I will go in a coffee shop anyways because I will be with someone. I know I wont eat though as I have my pre-made tetras :T I will be buying a new bag while I am there and as I dont wear makeup, thats my treat... Oh and going to the Fashion Museum
You can buy water flavourings from your CDC. They are about £9 but last ages. They will not kick you out of ketosis as long as you dont go mad and have more the the recommended allowence. I cant help with the water because I drink so much of it and I love it now. I hope you can overcome this hurdle :cool:0 -
Yay Stokegal go for it ! .. 1pint by 1pm and then the second by 3 ??? .... i reckon thats a good challenge! .. hehe ... i do hate water tho! I tried another cup of tea without milk this morning .. yukky didnt like it atall!
