Thank you for the kick up my wobbly bootie:p, have had a much better day - got in the kitchen to do the cooking! How bizarre is this, if I cook I find it easier not to eat...mad isn't it!
I know exactly what you mean about the flippin' snow and christmas! I LUV the idea of having the holiday channels on the tv - brill, going to defo do that.
How you doing Pap? Hope the coffee day was fun and you got a fandabidozy bag. Kids still off here AND the dog hates the snow, keeps trying to lift all his legs up at once - poor thing can't quite grasp the idea that he'll fall over!
See you later alligators, keep thinking of the glorious weather that is just around the corner - did any one notice that the nights have started to pull out a bit?
By the way, the summer catalogues have started to come out - more thinspiration for us.......xxx0 -

just want to say good luck to everyone doing CD, I did it last year and lost over 6 stone on it, and another stone since, have maintained since august. It is not true, you do not put all the weight back on straight away but you dohave to work up the plans, and I know that I will always be monitoring my calorie consumption.
My only regret is that I didnt do this diet when i was younger as I have wasted so many years of my life being overweight.
Also, must warn you that if you lose a massive amount of weight you will have saggy skin ( exercise wont remove 7st worth of excess skin!) I had a full tummy tuck last November which was a major operation which I am still recovering from
Cambridge Diet changed my life, hope it works for all of you too xx0 -
WOW jellytastic, Thankyou so much for posting! .. your story sounds insperational!
I have 5 stne to lose and my biggest fear is being left with massive amounts of loose skin especially after 4 children, Im planning a tummy tuck when i get to goal and settled into eating again.
Would you say that the hardest part is once youve completed the Cd ? .. and how do you manage on a day to day basis eating and meal wise? ...
Again thanks so much for postingHoping to be a thinner me in 2010!0 -
Just checking in one lat time before I go to sleep - so day 1 is over, I have a strawberry shake for breakfast, leek and potato soup for lunch and spicy tomato soup for dinner, I have loved the soups and even though I'm hungry. It's not an unbearable hunger - I did put a pre made shake in the freezer to eat as ice cream if I got really desperate and I'm so chuffed that it's still there :j:j
I'm back at work tomorrow so it should be easier as I'm always busy on Thursday and Fridays, they're having a cookie competition on Friday - I'm jut glad that I dont have a sweet tooth... now if it was a bacon sandwich competition...
Hope everyone else has had a good day too xx0 -
Good Morning
...
Day 4 is in progress............. didnt wake up feeling as dizzy so that was a bonus, had half a pint before i got up this morning .. have to admit i had a sneaky w.i ~slaps wrist~ Well a girl has got to stay on track my any means possible doesnt she ? haha ...
I have a lil threat of a headache coming on .. so will pop some pills very shortly and my stomach is feeling sore (hope that makes sence)
I had to rush upstairs and brush my teeth last night, my OH bent over the sofa to look at somthing i was showing him online and he said "have u just farted" .. i said NO .. its probably my breath........ i was horrified !!!!!!!!!!!!
anyhoo .... hows your day going everyone ? .. any plans atall? ..
food today will be half a choc i had left from yesterday .... im going to give the pot and leek soup another go in half portions and a tofee and walnut to try tonight ...Hoping to be a thinner me in 2010!0 -
In reply to piratess, yes the hardest part is after the cambridge diet - doing the diet is easy as you never feel hungry ( I know you want stuff but its not cos you are hungry it is because you fancy it) when you start to eat regular food again, you do get hungry and it is hard not to grab something just for the sake of it. I cook everything from scratch and I weigh all portions so that I know how many calories are in food. To maintain my weight now Im not on CD I can only consume 1500 cals a day, if I go over on special occasions I have to cut back next few days so that it balances out. I gain weight very easily, some people lose weight on 1500 cals a day - not me I can only maintain.
I was in size 24-26 clothes and now in 12-14 bottom and 14-16 top - I never want to get over fat again that is what keeps me on the straight and narrow.
Good luck to all of you, it is a hard journey but so worth it xx0 -
Hi, hope I can jump in here.
Ive managed to lose 2 and half stone by calorie counting but its taken me 8 months to do that. I have another 1 and half stone to lose and I seem to be struggling to lose a pound at the moment, plateauing.
Do you have to see a counsellor to buy Cambridge Diet. I dont fancy all that faffing about being measured and so on. Is there anywhere I can buy online by filling in details rather than personal contact please?0
